The hotel is located in a very convenient central location in SD within 15 minutes of the historic district and close to Coronado Island. It also is walking distance from many restaurants and fast food joints in Little Italy. The room was nice and well made when we arrived. Also has a nice restaurant and facilities including free WiFi, valet...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

When researching hotels in San Diego, I was looking for good shuttle service, walking distance to restaurants and a smoking area for my mother and TripAdvisor was right. I chose this hotel based on the great reviews for Jose, coordinator of shuttle service. Like others have said, he goes out of his way to provide excellent advice and service. He...

The Porto Vista by far uses social media more than any place I have ever stayed. First of all, if you book a room that includes the shuttle, make sure you arrange in advance for them to pick you up. My package included the room, shuttle and breakfast for a great rate. When I arrived at the Airport I called...

The service was great, room was clean and comfortable. We had the deluxe room which was a nice size. The hotel is in a great location, close to airport, train statio balboa park and many great restaurants. A little too close to a great desert shop, I went every day! I would stay here again and recommend to others. The...

Stayed for a 3 day conference at the San Diego Convention Center. The shuttle bus transportation back and forth was AWESOME! They even dropped me off at Horton Plaza for some shopping and a movie. Free Breakfast included, eggs, bacon, muffins, toast, potatoes....(a warm breakfast). The staff was great when I came down with an unexpected flu on my last...

If you want to stay in Little Italy (who doesn't?) then this is the perfect place to stay.. Near all the great restaurants and Saturday Farmer's market... Plus it has a great continental breakfast and happy hour... in a bar with a view! It's also reasonably priced and the staff is very courteous and helpful during your stay.

Hotel is in great location with easy access to the trolly station. Located one block from the heart of Little Italy and a few blocks to the Marina. We strolled along the waterfront path, down to the Seaport village, over to the Gaslamp district, had lunch and walked back to the hotel in about 3.5 hours. Hotel has a very...

As the title suggests we really enjoyed the boutique feel of the hotel. Our room was on the 5th floor and had 10 foot ceilings which gave it a spacious feel. It was larger than the expected, as was the bathroom. Unlike other reviews, our room looked very much like the photos online. The Glass Door restaurant is a great...

Would not stay again. Too bad because in a great area to visit Little Italy. Staff was nice enough and found us a room and breakfast decent. View probably not worth paying more. So strange that would try to hide the mattress issue as the smell was very evident.
