Love being in the heart of Little Italy. Walking distance to everything (Petco Park, Gaslamp and of course all Little Italy has to offer. Older property that has been renovated... Book directly with them for best pricing and discounts. Very friendly staff, clean rooms!!

I traveled to San Diego for work last minute, and I had to stay in Downtown however, I knew Gaslamp was a bit too loud and hard to get around. I found Porto Vista Online that had a great rate. I arrived at the hotel a bit early however they had a room ready before check in time which was...

My husband and I recently took a staycation for the weekend in Little Italy. We stayed at the PV Hotel for two nights, the location of this hotel was perfect. Right in the center of Little Italy and walking distance to al the restaurants and shops. The first night we dined at the Glass Door restaurant and had some apps,...

My mother booked this hotel as a weekend getaways to celebrate my graduation from college. She had stayed here before, both times getting vouchers off Groupon which included $5-a-day parking instead of $25-a-day parking. With our voucher, we also received 2 free days worth of their buffet breakfast (we stayed three nights). So, it might be worth your while to...

Pleasant hotel, Little Italy is one block away. Lots of shops within walking distance. Staff is very helpful, especially the valet attendant Jose. He assisted with unloading an loading when we left our vehicle.

I stayed at this hotel in early June. the staff is very nice and they have tried to make it a good hotel. My room was ok, but it was like the old Motels. That's the biggest surprise, once you get over the actual aesthetics of the Hotel, everything else is ok.

This place felt more like a motel... but the room was clean, breakfast was big and overall it was a good experience. Great location: in the heart of Little Italy, but close to the airport and a tram station.

Porto Vista was definitely a motel and not a 3.5 star hotel, maybe a 1 star hotel. Don't park in their parking lot, they charge $25 for parking when there are much cheaper parking lots in the neighborhood.

We were happy with this hotel and would stay there again. It is clear that the owners are trying to update their hotel and make it beautiful. The decorating was modern and lovely. The valet parking workers were wonderful and super friendly, especially Kevin and Johnny. Rob at the front counter was very knowledgeable and helpful. He made sure we...

Jose was very helpful with getting me to the airport at the end of the trip. The check in staff was also very helpful. The restaurant is charming and has a row of seats where you can sit outside and look toward the water while you dine.
