This hotel was very nice and close to UCSD, but if you want to go to SeaWorld, Ocean Beach or USD, you’re over 30 miles away and 30 miles on I-5 can be a nightmare. The room had a little fridge but no microwave, although you could go down to the lobby and use the one there. They also sold... More

This hotel is located in an isolated business park so maybe it is not so ideal for a vacation, but as we had a wedding to attend nearby at the Karl Strauss Brewery, it was perfect. What was so remarkable was how quiet the room was. Even though our floor was occupied by many other wedding guests, it seemed as... More

We agreed never to stay at Residnce Inn closer to UCSD as it is a dump, and couldn't get the full service Marriott in La Jolla to work with us on a fair price for struggling UCSD parents already paying hefty tab for a college, so we selected the Courtyard in Sorrento Valley and used rewards points. It was only... More

In San Diego for a wedding at Karl Strauss Brewery, we stayed at this Courtyard - directly across the street from the venue. We originally booked because of the well priced wedding block of rooms and because of the convenience of the location. We were blown away when we stepped into a newly renovated hotel that was nicer than a... More

This Courtyard is located in the midst of a growing technical area with several of my clients in close proximity. It is also near good restaurants (top requirement) and touristy stuff that I have no time to enjoy. The layout is good and the Bistro is excellent.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Sorrento Valley and had a nice stay. The staff are very friendly and the hotel and grounds are very well kept. The rooms are clean and the noise levels are very low. The Bistro in the lobby is great for breakfast as well as evening cocktails/beer/wine. Finally, the location is very good since it... More

Older hotel that is in the middle of a commercial business park, stayed for a few days, room was clean and well furnished, walls are a little thin, but that's what you get with an older place. good coffee shop in the lobby, walking distance to Karl Strauss Brew Pub, would stay again.

We stayed here for two nights and were very pleased with this hotel. Their staff was friendly and helpful (gave us a map and a list of recommended restaurants close by). Parking was free and spacious. Free wifi worked well for regular internet browsing. Bistro serves good breakfast (not free though). Our room was clean and quiet. I prefer their... More
