excellent service -beautiful pool and jacuzzi-wonderful view of the water and seaport village right across the street. The only issue I had was the small room with no open air decks for fresh air. But if you are not claustrophobic- this would not be a problem...the food was really good too.

Was in San Diego in January and stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Lovely place! Rooms were modern and renovated. Has great restaurants and a gym. Staff and service was great. Close to many restaurants and is in the gas lamp district with great views.

We had an amazing view of the Harbor, and beautiful scenery. Within walking distance to several attractions, including USS Midway, and several Harbor tours as well as the Ferry to Coronado. Also short a train ride to Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo. The room was nice, nothing to make it stand out, but you are paying for the location....

Had room with a view - hard not to. Location is great. You can walk to the hop on, hop off trolleys and harbor cruise that does land and water. Lovely spa (expensive) 2 pools and a hot tub for relaxation. Sports bar in the lobby to watch all the games.

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Manchester. There are the usual amenities, lots of things to do and see nearby, shopping, the gaslamp area, and so much more. We ran/walked every morning along the seaport and enjoyed the gym, Jacuzzi, and pools. Very friendly an helpful staff.

Very impressed with hotel and birthday surprise along with excellent proximity to gas lamp quarters area of San Diego for food and nightlife options. I would definitely go back, as I enjoyed the hotel and the area of San Diego.

I spent a few days here for business travel and loved it. They have a great exercise facility, the location along the water is wonderful, and all the amenities were terrific. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff at check-in are great and really helpful. This hotel is right by Sea Port with loads of good restuarants nearby (we would recommend the Cheesecake Factory and the Mexican restuarant in the Headquarters shopping centre). We were surprised that we had to ask for a kettle and other items which normally would be automatically provided in room. The bed...
