The hotel is in a great location, very easy access to San Diego beautiful beaches, but the hotel itself is very old fashion, the room were dusty and felt very old, with a strange smell, air conditioning unit very old. noisy and smelly, bathroom not very clean also, the whole place needs a replacement, the only good thing was the...

We checked into Mission Valley Resort but apparently the "for hookers and homeless" had burned out lights on the sign. Place was sketch as all hell. Liquor store on site shoulda been a clue. Although online they referred to it as a mini-mart. To the stairwell left of our room door was a totally full bottle of beer and down...

This was truly one of the worst places I've ever stayed. It was dirty and totally run down. The area were my room was located must be rented on a weekly/monthly basis. There were 3 very drunk people staying right down from me. Needless to stay I did not sleep well and awoke to vomit on the sidewalk. Absolutely disgusting....

This hotel has not been updated in the last 15 years. Still has a tube TV, door opens to outside, daylight coming in under the door, tub was very rough looking, table was all scratched up. Did not feel safe and ended up checking out early and moving to a better hotel down the street. I would not recommend this...

Don't let the title fool you, this is no resort. The prices are great! Especially for the area, but as they say: you get what you pay for. The rooms and buildings look like they have not ever enjoyed an update since their initial erection and a couple of the former pools have been haphazardly filled in with dirt and...

We had a very pleasant stay here. I guess it is a bit hit and missed based on the other reviews here. We had a clean and spacious room. Housekeeping missed us one day but we just asked for fresh towels and they bought them up to us. It has a nice looking pool and jacuzzi which I didn't use...

We booked thinking it couldn't be that bad. When people say it's bad it's bad. We arrived on a Friday night. There were no outside lights on as we drove to our room, It was so dark I used my own flashlight to walk the stairs. By the way there's no elevator. The bathtub was peeling paint as it was...

This is one of the cheaper places to stay. I've stayed here a few time but always in the Superior Room. The Superior rooms are very nice close to the pool and court yard. this time I stayed in the standard. The rooms was very nice not the view but it was clean, spacious needing a little TLC. I come to San Diego every month for work &try to spend less than $130/night. I also stay in different areas to get to experience the city. I won't be coming back to this property.
