We were quite concerned headed to Chinle for a visit to the Canyon de Chelly. This is a very small town with hardly any restaurants and two hotels. We were pleasantly surprised by the service we got. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was good. The dinner was better then the breakfast.Avoid the buffet breakfast and order from the...

Our destination was Canyon de Chelly and this hotel was basically just around the corner. Check-in was odd. We were about ten minutes away from the hotel and looked online to see if rooms were available; several options showed online. My husband went in to reserve a room and came back and said there weren't any rooms. This was odd....

This is simply a very very nice hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. We did not eat in the restaurant. Everything in the room worked and we had no difficulty at all. Very quietnd The hotel is on the Navaho nation and certainly shows a great deal of care and concern on the part of the management.

Things were a little rough on check-in; the desk clerk maybe having had a bad day, or . . . However, after that first few minutes, things began to smooth out, and within an hour or so, the entire stay (4 days) went swimmingly, without a hitch of any kind. The restaurant serves a decent menu (especially considering it is...

If you are visiting Canyon de Chelly, the Holiday Inn is the best option. The location is a stone's throw from the park. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff is a little distant and needs some training. The restaurant is nothing special, but better than the local alternatives. The food is filling if not interesting; however, the service...

Whenever I travel to Chinle, which is quite a lot, I alway stay here. The rooms are are clean, with comfortable beds and a flat screen television. The grounds are well landscaped and the pool is very inviting. The air conditioner/heater worked well and was not as noisy as many that I have encountered in my travels. I really enjoy...

We had a fast and friendly check-in. When we saw that our room had a connecting door, which we never like, they switched us right away to another room. The room was very clean, the two easy chairs were very comfortable, the beds were good. TV had basic choices, local news was for New Mexico. The internet worked fine for...

The hotel itself is very nice and well maintained. It is located right outside the entrance to Canyon de Chelly, so close, in fact, that you can see the sign for the visitor center. This puts it outside of the town itself, which is a good thing. The only other "real" hotel in town is the Best Western near the...

We stayed here for one night on our way through the area along with a brief visit to Canyon de Chelly. The location is pretty good, being close to the canyon but not terribly near anything else. Fortunately, it has its own restaurant. (See separate restaurant review.) The rooms are clean, pretty well appointed, and clean. Service was quite good....
