I recently stayed at the Wagner Duck Creek Inn with a friend for several days. Before booking I spoke to the new owner and was assured that the rooms I was booking were updated and had new bedding etc. I had several experiences with the room I was in that were not good. My first evening there were several problems....

We have stayed at this inn for over 20 years, under previous ownership. The new owners have made many improvements and enhanced the decor while maintaining the ambience and historic feel of the buildings. The front desk staff is welcoming, helpful and cheerful. Our room was comfortable and cozy and the breakfast was varied and delicious. It is great that...

Overall, this is a very pleasant hotel and has been refreshed/updated quite a bit since last summer. It's not a luxury resort by any means, but it gives you that quaint B&B feel - which is what you want in Wellfleet! Hotel staff is extremely friendly and attentive and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Plus, you're close to everything...

I booked the Gull Room at The Wagner for a long weekend with my girlfriend and another couple. The room was a little small for 4 adults, but the beds were very comfortable and the TV had Netflix on it. The breakfast served in the morning had a good mix of eggs, cheeses, bagels and pastries. The Well tavern next...

This used to be the Duck Creek Inn. I've stayed her a dozen times over the last 30 years. It was quaint, but old and kind of worn with an unenthusiastic staff, shared bathrooms and an iffy breakfast, It is now the Wagner Inn, with totally refurbished rooms, grounds, decor and new owners. It is now a wonderful place with...

B&B with a heart! Very personable staff. Beautiful environment, house is enveloped in flowers and trees. Delicious homemade breakfasts, something special every morning. Charming cottage feeling updated with modern design. We felt very at home there. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed here for the weekend during the first week of June. The inn recently changed ownership, and has undergone an impressive facelift. The new owners and staff are very friendly, and accommodating. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast, with seasonal fresh fruit, a unique assortment of cheeses, and delicious baked goods from the oven. The Wagner is...

My wife and I stayed two nights, much to our regret, because we had paid in advance. Had we seen the place first, we would have walked out immediately. The only good things that can be said are that the place is clean and the breakfast is decent. But $150 a night should have been $50. We arrived at 9:30...

Very cute place with a lot of charm. Great staff. I believe this is a new venture for the owners, and they are very accommodating and friendly. Perks: pet friendly and well priced! My boyfriend and I, and our dog will definitely return!
