We had a 2-night stay in March 2017. It was more than I thought it would be and the pictures don't do it justice. We stayed in the Amelia room (highly recommend it) and loved it. There was a huge bedroom with a large bathroom that had an entrance to it's own balcony. All the necesities were in the kitchenette...

We love staying here. We stayed our first time for an anniversary weekend. All the rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The Burrus house is a hidden jewel with beautiful views and a quiet romantic place to unwind and get away from it all, yet convenient to great restaurants and shopping. We will be returning again and again.

I've stayed at the Burrus House several times and will again! The rooms are immaculate, spacious, beautifully decorated and amazingly quiet. The view is spectacular and the customer service is unbeatable. Vicky is a gem and always goes out of her way to make sure that everything is perfect. The jacuzzi and double shower is a real perk. The private...

Reserved the Amelia Delnoy suite for long holiday wknd. Inn describes this suite as having a fireplace and WIFI. Not really- fireplace is more properly called a propane gas stove, WIFI was non-existent unless we piggybacked off my wife's iPhone hotspot. We weren't offered any type of WIFI password at check in. Check in was problematic as no one was...

Such a nice and quiet Inn! The views were incredible from the private deck. The huge soaking tub was relaxing and enjoyable in the beautiful bathroom. The King size bed was very comfortable. We didn't hear a soul the whole time we were there! Very romantic weekend in Manteo - a little piece of heaven!

From the moment we arrived till the moment we left this has been the best stay ever! We wanted to spend some time in Manteo instead of the usual and we will be coming back. We originally were only going to stay two days, but we liked it so well and it was my birthday, so my husband surprised me...

I love this Inn and you will too! Gorgeous sunrise views over wide waterfront. You can see all the way to Jockey's Ridge. Two private decks, Enormous Master Bath off of the bedroom. I will go back again and again!

We had a wonderful stay. The water views from the towers-end of the building are beautiful. The large suites are well-decorated and comfortable. The week that we stayed there were few other rooms booked which made the Burrus House quite pleasant, very laid back and relaxing. I highly recommend staying here while in Manteo and the neighboring area.
