The Rim Rock Inn is a small operation. It's clean and personal. The rooms are older, but adequate for a base-camp as you explore the surrounding parks. What's really nice is there's a tavern and a restaurant on the property. We didn't go to the tavern, but I understand from a friend that has a vacation house near by, the...

This felt like a national park lodge near the entrance of Capitol Reef. Big clean room with nice Southwest decor. Both sides of hotel had a nice view. My only suggestion is to add a coffee pot in each room. Both restaurants on the property had great food. Small breakfast with granola bars and fruit but $10 buffet across street...

While the property is well located the drawbacks are significant. The rooms are small, furnished with items from a 60s garage sale, and are lacking such amenities as a hairdryer and kleenex. Lukewarm water in the shower was the final insult. Breakfast is not available on site.

If You are a big eater, you'll love this place. Otherwise, find someone to split a meal with you. There is no bar but wine and beer is available with dinner. You may need reservations during their busy season; Spring to Fall.

I agree with the "nothing wrong with this place, but... Rooms were large and clean. Bed was comfortable. We expected a few nicer amenities but $83 room rate was not overdone. Coffee, fruit and energy bars in lobby for morning. Good dinner restaurant on property.

We found nothing fundamentally wrong with this place but it felt like we'd travelled back in time with everything except the price. The room was comfortable enough and if you ignored the stains on the carpet, acceptably clean. Given the price we expected facilities such as coffee making, a fridge, a hair dryer but none were present. The free breakfast...

This hotel is close to many of the things we wanted to see and do in southern Utah. The rooms are basic but very nice. There is also a restaurant on site with good food, which was great, because many of the other places were closed due to it being the end of the season. The views are wonderful from...

The rooms were fine but the views of the cliff faces was incredible! Simply look out the window and there they were! Excellent restaurant attached to the building. Sunset was awesome as the cliffs brightened up.Good price for those on a budget.

Dining with a red rock view. Very prompt service - our server took our order, prior to a tour bus group, who was seated right after us. Our salads & appetizers came right away. Dinner was timely. Arrive early - to enjoy the late afternoon & early evening setting sun on the canyon walls. Sirloin steak was good - with...
