We are a film crew from "Summer Camp" that stayed at the Holiday Inn in Flat Rock all of April and May. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Film crews have alot of coming and going. The front desk was always able to work with our schedule. The rates were within our budget. This is a great place to book a business group. A special shout out to Sierra who works the front desk always helpful and very professional.

My 8 year old son and I went to stay at this hotel for his sports tournament. I thought the worst part of my stay was going to be gross number of black hairs in my shower or the stink bug on my ceiling. NOPE. Turns out it was when an employee tried to enter my room TWICE overnight when my son and I were sleeping. My door was latched shut. He tried to knock open the latch with a tool the hotel has to do so. It terrified my son and I. I still have the tool because I kicked the door shut on the employee And it got stuck in my door. The front desk and manager were unable to come up with any logical reason why am employee was trying to knock open my metal latch in the room we had paid for. They were unsympathetic and flat out lied. DO NOT STAY HERE. I will never go back. I am still shaken up. The police were notified.…

From check in to check out everything was excellent, cleanliness, safety, security and all the staff was very professional - front desk, Selena and Ceirra were super, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Cleaning staff was top notch as well as food service. The cleaning staff took time to acknowledge me each time I went by, food service asked us several times if there was anything else we needed, perfect stay!

The property is very nice and clean with good sized rooms. I think it is 5 years old so the whole place looks new. Staff very nice and young. The problem is with the location. It is on top of route 26 and the noise from the traffic is pervasive day and night. Don't let them tell you the windows are sound deadening because they are not. I would not stay here again unless I go deaf.

Scheduled maintenance without any notice before we arrived left us without water for 2 days and then without clean water after that. Housekeeping is performed only on request, which we weren't told that we needed to request it, and even after we requested it, it still wasn't performed. No towels replaced, no garbage emptied, no toilet paper, non-functioning pumps for shower gel, non-functioning TVs in workout room. Staff minimally responsive.

We arrived late. I had called and Austin answered and said that it was fine. When we got there he was so helpful and friendly. Our room was extra clean and very nice. We were on the 4th floor close to the elevators and yet it was so quiet. We left before breakfast opened at 6. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

Great location lots of places to eat everything is close by and convenient. We came here for 4 days for a family reunion. Upon check in the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very clean throughout room was cozy, beds were comfortable as well. They have an outdoor pool open till 10pm never felt crowded the area was very clean. They have continental breakfast from 6am to 10am. Food was good they had bacon one day and pork & turkey sausage, eggs and cereal and of course coffee and tea.

The hotel is quiet, up to date and responds to problems. There is a nice outdoor pool. Covid protocols at this hotel included not cleaning the room for our 5 night stay. We were only offered clean towels. Supposedly this kept staff healthy. Breakfast was terrible and even when full and busy no cleaning of tables was happening in common area.

Holiday Inn Express is our go-to for nice bedding and well maintained facility. This location met those expectations. As a light sleeper though, our room facing the interstate was not ideal; I had to keep the fan running and the television on all night to drown out the traffic noise, as well as take a sleep aid. We were here two, might I say, miserable nights. If I return to this hotel in the future, I will be sure to ask for a room in the front of the hotel, away from the interstate..

We had a great time for the couple of nights we stayed there. It was close to the Biltmore. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and nice. Keisha was great at the restaurant. She was very attentive and nice. We would stay again.
