Hotel is located near nothing. So no food options nearby. Staff was some of the rudest people ever dealt with. Waiting 15+ minutes for elevator was the norm. Rooms were tiny, old, and Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent. Loud noises and doors slamming every night. Stay anywhere else.
Excellent location and the Hotel team was outstanding. There were very good restaurant options and the subway within easy walking distances. Specific Shout Out to Johnnie who gave us outstanding customer service ! Will return !
We cruised out of Manhattan Terminal and this hotel was awesome! Super close, off a quiet street so easy for us to unload our vehicle, and had parking associated at the bottom of the street (under BMW dealer). Hotel was small, and very clean. We have stayed in many hotel post-pandemic and most do not feel clean. This one was excellent! Staff were great, hotel had an included buffet style breakfast, which I find rare for downtown NY. We would stay here again even if we weren’t cruising. Had some places to eat within walking distance and was a clean/safe feeling area walking around the hotel. Johnnie and Raihon (hope I spelled correctly) were great staff at the hotel. For those cruising out of Manhattan Terminal, I wouldn’t waste my time shuttling from areas way outside of NY to get to the pier. This hotel would be the only one I’d consider again (stayed in a handful in and around NYC). Not that all past hotels were bad, but this has some features that are really convenient for our family. Parking at the pier was a breeze to get to from the hotel and is only $400 for up to 14 days, and you can park right beside the ship. Reasons to stay here: Great staff, very clean, free buffet breakfast, parking very close by, walking distance to Manhattan Cruise Terminal, close to Central Park, parking lot associated to the hotel almost beside the hotel and not several blocks away, tucked in just off the really busy streets of NY, which allowed us to pull-up, park, unload, check-in, and then go park our car. Reasons not to stay: we don’t have any. Thanks for the great stay, Ryan…
Best part is parking is right next door and relative closeness to Central Park. Was given a room key even though our room was t ready. Walked into the room with the staff still cleaning. And the cleaning agent that they used was extremely strong and stayed with us for the stay. As others said elevators small and long waits. This had to be the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The sound of the ac/heating unit was intrusive. Only stayed the one night. Will not stay here again.
It's my first time traveling the city alone with my daughter. Usually, my husband comes with us and he's a more comfortable traveler. I'm a nervous traveler, especially with just my daughter. I had an issue with my credit card checking in and Yolanda and Raihan were so incredibly accommodating and helpful. They went above and beyond out of their way to help me resolve the issue I was having, which they didn't have to because the error was on my part, not theirs. I really needed their calmness because, again, nervous traveler here. Yolanda also gave me daughter a small treat and that made a huge difference to me. (Thank you!!!) When we got to the room, it was surprisingly "too clean" smelling for my very sensitive nose. I could smell the cleaning products and I knew it would aggravate my asthma overnight. Once again, Yolanda and Raihan were right on top of it and got me into a new room. Ashley even got involved and made me feel totally comfortable requesting the change even though I felt like a nuisance. I was just afraid of getting sick with just my daughter. The new room is just as clean, only without the scent of the cleaning products, which I appreciate. The room is also well-appointed and surprisingly larger than I expected. Lastly, Ashley made excellent recommendations for food and my daughter and I are enjoying our stay. I am in town for work but now that I know how close the cruise port is, I will definitely come back and stay here again when taking a cruise! Zero concerns or complaints!! Ashley, Yolanda, and Raihan are the exact team I needed to ease my concerns for this stay. I hope corporate sees this! Thank you!!!…
this hotel is a little basic, quite far downtown so everything is a walk to subway or 30 min walk. The room was clean but the aircon unit was very noisey and kept making loud banging noises. The view would have been nice but there was a bin store and this spoilt it, the skyline over New York in the evening was good. The bar was small and the menu limited in evening. The breakfast was superb with so much choice and the Staff went above and beyond to help with everything and were very knowledgeable about the area. A nice touch was the map they gave us and showed us areas to visit.
Perfect. Immaculately clean, utterly quiet room. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is good. Love the toiletries! Wish they sold them at the front desk! Bed is comfortable. My new fave Manhattan hotel.
Great hotel! Fantastic friendly staff very helpful. 10 min walk from Central Park 20 min walk to Times Square. All round a great experience and value. Would recommend to anyone! Only niggle was the bedding, especially during winter months need a decent duvet. Will return to NYC next year and wouldn’t hesitate on staying at this hotel again. And to the agent Johnnie Thanks again! 😊
The wife and I have just stayed here for 4 nights. What a pleasant experience. - The staff we're friendly and helpful. - The breakfast was fantastic, as well as the staff in the morning. - The rooms we're lovely and comfy. As well as the view was scenic. - 10 minute walk to Central Park / 15 minute walk to Times Square. All in all an excellent experience was had here. Would highly recommend.
We have stayed at this property several times, as has our daughter. We cannot say enough about how kind, efficient and accommodating the staff always is. Yolanda and Betty at the front desk, were so incredibly helpful when we needed some special accommodations for a late check out and when our daughter came on an emergency visit. The manger, Yan, is so guest centered and cooperative! In addition to the the incredible staff, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is exceptional. They will even provide GF options! The room temperature is comfortably adjustable. The location is great...near everything! If we or anyone we know needs a hotel in Manhattan, this hotel would be our top recommendation!
