Looking for a nice hotel in New York that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, try the Chelsea Savoy Hotel. Great location, close to all public transportation, easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Comfortable, clean rooms and a friendly staff.
Old facility in need of update but clean. Great location with 1 train next door, and many others just blocks away. Also surrounded by plenty of local attractions and amenities.
Simple breakfast of coffee and baked goods.
Mediocre hotel with ridiculous check in policy. Very dated decor and poor upkeep. Other better hotels very nearby for comparable prices. Front desk person, Eva, is extremely rude and has no business working in customer service. Will never stay here again.
We were in NYC for Neil Diamond concert at Madison Square Garden. Our room was one of the smaller ones, but we expected that from the other reviews. However, it was clean, with good AC, and newly tiled bath. And the price was right!
Chelsea Savoy was the perfect hotel for our first visit to New York. Rooms clean and fresh, Staff friendly and helpful, Subway station for uptown and downtown right outside front door. Quiet area, very little street noise. Great value for touring New York!

Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York
City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.

Hola Ramon, y ¡vamos racing! I stayed on the 3rd floor, I forget the room number, which was large enough for two beds and a crib, with views up and down 7th Avenue. There are also rooms over the main entrance on West 23rd, but not so much is happening on that street.
