The good things: It was relatively cheap. Location is great; normal people live there close to subway, subway minutes to Downtown, variety of good restaurants, food shops, independent coffee shops and Starbucks next door which is essential if you need wi-fi. The second bedroom we had after demanding change was well sized and in fact the one used in the...

I read the reviews below and was concerned about my hotel stay here after reading these reviews. I was only in NYC to move my daughter out of dorm room into storage, so it was not a "pleasure" trip, but needed convenience to school. I was pleasantly surprised after checking in. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Very, very quiet...

The rooms were clean. Housekeeping came every day. The towels and the sheets are a bit old but overall clean. The bathroom was clean! They don't have a mini fridge in the rooms, that was a bit dissapointing cause you don't have a possibility to keep your drinks (food) cold. The only thing that looked really dirty and old is...

Staff were so helpful and very friendly. The hotel was clean and very comfortable and a great location with 103 St subway station practically outside. The room was perfectly adequate but the en suite bathroom was a bit on the small side. The bed was so comfortable, we slept so well. Have already recommend this hotel to family who are...

Room extremely small, but i guess that's what you get in Manhatton. Seemed clean. Would have liked some tea or coffee in the lobby at least - there was hot water available, but nothing else! Also had to pay $2 so they would look after my case for a few hours once I had checked out. Never had to pay...

We booked this hotel because it was relatively cheap for a private room and it turned out great. The room was nice and clean (small but that's to be expected). The staff were really nice and the location was perfect. There was a subway station right outside so you could get anywhere very easily. We visited during the winter. The...

We stayed at this hotel for one week in march. The hotel was clean and warm and rooms were cleaned daily. The rooms were pretty basic but to be fair we only really slept here, you don't spend much time in the room, there is so much to do and see. There were no kettles in the rooms however there...

The only good thing about the hotel is its position by 103rd St subway. It has no lift and you have 1 flight to reception, then we were two floors above that. The carpets were not vacuumed all the time we were there, dirty towels, uncleand shelf in the bathroom towels not replaced etc.... There's free slow Wifi, no coffe...
