This hotel is located right in the thick of it, yards from the amazing Empire State Building and much more. Macy's is a minutes walk away but watch out for all that street food, delicious. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast in the morning is more that adequate for providing you a great start for hungry site seeing....

I'm a big Hampton Inn fan, and their 35th Street location in Manhattan was no exception! The location is great - convenient to the Empire State Building, subway, restaurants, etc. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms were clean and comfortable - love the Hampton Inn beds. Some who haven't stayed in a NYC hotel might find...

Hampton is a consistently reliable brand and this hotel is no exception. The room was small but very comfortable with all necessary amenities - safe, iron and ironing board, coffee machine, hair dryer etc. There is also free wifi. I used the fitness room which was well maintained and had a reasonable selection for the size. The breakfast was included...

I love staying at HAMPTON INNS! I spent the night at this particular hotel and found everything about it to be outstanding. The reception staff Daymar Hernandez and Ashley Thavisin were very professional and helpful, in spite of an onslaught of arriving customers combined with helping people with their luggage. I was able to get into my room at 11:30....

We stayed here for a moms/daughter weekend and had excellent customer service from the pleasant and helpful staff at this location. Arriving early, they held our bags in a secure location so that we could venture out, while also ensuring an Empire State Bldg view - and what a fantastic view it was from the 19th floor! The manager, Rosa, was...

Spent the weekend here for the beginning of our Spring Break trip. It is what I expect from a Hampton Inn. Quaint, affordable and clean. In NYC, most hotels have small rooms and are noisy. This was a small room, however, I was surprised by the quietness of the room. It even was facing 35th street and except for one...

Hotel is really central so a great place to stay for a visit to NY. We had a room on the 2nd floor and found it extremely noisy with the air con right outside the door. The breakfast was OK, like all Hampton's its nothing special but there is enough choice to find something you can enjoy. Staff were great...

Very good hotel, great location. The rooms and bathrooms are confortable, the ammenities are from neutrogena. They accept to receive boxes and packages for guests with no extra costs. Breakfast is not so good, food is not very fresh and wealthy, but this is usual in United States. The only negative side was a woman in reception called Kathy. Whens...

Before selecting this hotel, decide what is more important - convenience or sleep? The location is great as it is near Herald Square, 5th Avenue and the subway. The challenge is the hustle and bustle on the street. This is not a quiet place inside or outside of the hotel. I also had challenges with a slow sink drain and...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
