My daughter and I stayed at Mount Morris House B&B for 6 nights last month. We loved it. Dimitri, the owner, welcomed us and carried our luggage upstairs. The house is an old brown house with so many artifacts, it looks like a museum. Our...More

Thank you very much indeed. I hope you are feeling better from the flu. I have finally arrived on the island I come from in Greece. We are both islanders now :)
We stayed 8 days in this beautiful house. Is situated in a quiet spot just in front of a green park. Like traveling to the late 1800's with it's original details preserved, big rooms and high ceiling, but modern comforts as comfortable beds and nice...More

Beautiful and traditional town house in Harlem 5 minutes walk from subway. Didn't have time to explore the local area that much so will have to return. Rooms are huge yet still cosy and tastefully decorated. Dimitri is a friendly and knowledgeable host with passion...More
We stayed with four in the two-bedroom suite, a large elegant panelled space with good beds. Harlem is a very nice en slightly different perspective of Manhattan to be a tourist in. We loved the quiet of the area, the restaurants, houses and history of...More
As a hub of African American culture, Harlem has played a vital role in the history of New York City. Today, the neighbourhood is as vibrant as ever as new businesses and developments go up next to local institutions. The heart of the neighbourhood is bustling 125th Street, where street vendors and historic landmarks like the Apollo Theater mingle with big-name stores. Turn down almost any corner, and
you’ll discover some of the most beautiful blocks in the city, filled with handsome brownstones, soul food restaurants, corner shops, and scenic parks. For a taste of a real New York neighbourhood, it’s hard to top a visit to Harlem.
Sorry about the late reply. It just came through to me this morning. I have lived in this house for twenty one years now without a problem. There are no unsafe areas in Manhattan since a long time ago.
