This is a dorm room. It has a bed, TV, and sink. Shared bathrooms. Now, to be fair, you're not going to find a better price for the area, AND my room and the shared bathroom appear to be quite clean. But be aware of upcharges: room rate was $119, but total bill came to $141. Then parking is $40...

You get the gist of it if you read a range of the other reviews. I happened to really like it. We know it's convenient. But it was also spotless, and I found it to be quiet and it felt safe and secure. And my room was very comfortable. Yes, threre's always a tinge of discomfort if your room isn't...

I stayed at this place with my sister during our first NY-trip. The location is great: you're close to the 5th Ave as well as to Harald Square and Macy's. There a metro station around the corner as well. For a hostel it is a bit pricy though but I guess that this is normal at this time of the...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week while visiting the city and really can't recommend this hotel enough! We managed to secure it for a brilliant price and think it was worth every penny. The rooms are slightly on the small side, but given its fantastically central location we really weren't spending a lot of time in the...

The people working here were really helpful and nice. I booked one room with twin beds. Honestly, these beds were small and the room barely fit the beds. A sink was directly at the foot of the bed. It is just two beds, a mirror over the sink and a small closet. Barely enough room to change clothes. The hotel...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Great location! We could walk everywhere (Empire State Building, Times Square, Central park). The room is nice and clean, but a little bit small for 2 people. The bathroom was in a hallway, but it was always available and relatively clean, so we didn't have any issues with not having a bathroom...

I stayed at the Americana Inn for 3 nights in April, and was very pleased with my experience! It was just me this trip, so I got a single room, with a shared bathroom (which I believe all rooms have shared bathrooms here, but I'm not positive on that). Both the room and bathroom were kept very clean, and I...

We were very pleased with this accommodation for the price. Room and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable and it was nice to have a washbasin in the room. Location is right in the centre of Manhattan. Staff were friendly and helpful. You have to pay for wifi but it's just $6 for 24 hours. Would recommend.

We stayed in here for seven nights. We have absolutely no complaints. The accommodation was very reasonable, we were extremely happy, staff were so friendly and helpful. You couldn't get a better location, a little loud but this did not bother us at all. The hotel itself is very safe. Bedrooms were standard small New York size but again didn't...

I booked this room for my spouse morning before we were suppose to have the huge blizzard Tuesday the 14th of March 2017. His job was not willing to give them the day off and he had to report to work on time! so he decided to stay in a room at Americana Inn. I booked through booking.com and it...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
