If you want to avoid traffic of New York , this is the best location from where you can cover all the attractions near Manhattan by walk. The hotel is in prime location and very easy access to 7th Ave, 8th Ave broadway. The hotel room is very small and the bed is also very small for 2 ppl. But...

This hotel is just for passing night. It is not for a comfortable stay .shared bathroom with one big container of shampoo. Bed very small . No towels . No place for luggage . Reception only cooperative to keep luggage till flight. View of New York streets outside was good .easy access to central newyork . But eventually nothing special...

I chose this place because of it's location and low price (I got $45+tax per night for a single room). It's really on a convenient location, very close to Times Square (3 blocks or so) 1 block from Bryant Park and NYPL, less than 1 block to the 5th av, etc. It was very comfortable as weather was pretty cold...

i had one night there on the 5th floor. there was an unknown guy (i think with some drugs) who was calling me on my room phone three times during the night. the rooms have no own bathroom. the bathhrooms were dirty. After i had shower in the morning I met a sexual offender. directly after this situation i did...

Amazing location, but do not recommend for long stays. There was no free wifi. The room smelt so strongly of air freshener it was almost nauseating. The floor was extremely creaky (especially around the sink area) and the walls were paper thin. I could hear the most slightest sound from the person next door e.g. coughing, snoring and footsteps.

The hotel was better then expected. The price was unbelievable for December and the room was spotless. We had plenty of room to relax and my daughter said she had the best nights sleep. The staff were so helpful and friendly. You cannot beat the location either. I was skeptical about the shared bathrooms but they were clean and plentiful...

I've stayed at Americana Inn many times. It's just two blocks from Bryant Park, four blocks to Herald Square, and a short walk to Times Square. However, it has only the basics -- small rooms with sinks, bathrooms in the hallway (very clean), and not much more. Mechanical computer that costs $2 for 20 minutes, no restaurant. Not the place...

I booked this hotel last minute when I had to change my flight. We stayed here one night while waiting to check in at a nicer hotel down the street. Luckily we only spent a few hours here... Pros: This place is right by pretty much everything in Midtown from Times Square to the Empire State Building. It's also somewhat...

The best location possible, 5 mins walk from Time Square, The Empire State Building and the shops on 5th Ave! Rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly! Subway near by which is $6 return to Ground zero and if you like walking it takes 30 mins to get to Central Park! It is just a room with a...

Staied there 8 nights in a Double Room (2 people), paid 785€ (all taxes included) in Venere website, using a 15% discount coupon code. Tried 3 different rooms! Changed room because of the noise. Staied in a Twin Room in the corner, with 3 windows (408), a Twin room with only one window facing 38th street (404) and a double...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
