I haven't even got to the hotel yet but the reservation gentleman (Josef) has been so helpful. He took time to check my booking when I rang to make it, and today when I rang to check a couple of details against my reservation I spoke to him again! Josef recalled my first call and again could not have been...

Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Price was good for NY, close to subways. Quiet neighborhood with many outstanding restaurants and stores/markets close by. There was utility work on the street in front of the hotel complete with jackhammers, but we never heard it until we went outside. All in all, an outstanding value for...

I was really looking forward to staying at the Milburn. I was initially very disappointed, but upon reflecting back on our stay I think I would stay here again. When we arrived the night manager did not greet us or welcome us. He checked us in, gave us our keys, and told us where breakfast would be, but without any...

We had a wonderful eight-night stay at the Milburn. We especially liked the excellent location - with convenient neighborhood shopping and subway access, the quiet environment, the spacious rooms, and the cleanliness and good service. We look forward to our next visit to New York - and staying at the Milburn again.

This was our first stay at The Milburn and it won't be the last. Staff, accommodations, location, cleanliness, old New York décor, large rooms and suites, a great free breakfast, and just plain old fashioned friendliness and attention to detail is what you get at the Milburn. Coming back to the Milburn after spending a busy day in New York...

My husband and I always stay at the Milburn when we go to NYC. The staff is great, the rooms spacious and comfortable and the location is wonderful. It's very quiet but so much - restaurants, bars, stores etc are all nearby. We recommend it highly. Just don't stay there yourself because we don't want to get shut out when...

This hotel is in a very good location on the upper west side, great access to shops, restaurants, supermarkets, central park and the American Museum of Natural history. The rooms are nice, comfortable but they could really work on that breakfast! Cereal in plastic plates with plastic spoons that all get thrown away is such a waste. Get a recycling...

Just spent my first long weekend at The Milurn Hotel, and it was awesome. I booked early and got a great rate on one of the suites for five of us. I have never had so much hot water! The staff was so friendly and accommodating every day for every need. Always prompt and courteous. This hotel has Old World...

I've been to the Milburn more times than I can count and I can't believe this is my first review. Every time I come to NY I stay at this comfortable boutique style hotel on a quiet side street in a great upper west side neighborhood. The value very good as NY hotels are incredibly expensive. The rooms are spacious...

For visitors to New York City this Upper West Side hotel is conveniently located between two subway stations, and on a downtown bus line and close to two crosstown bus lines. Kitchen facilities were a plus to store snacks and water [a must in hot weather]. The rooms were quiet. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The room # 1002...
