I needed a midtown hotel and did not want to pay huge prices. The reviews on this hotel were pretty good so I gave it a try. This is an old building with very narrow hallways and small rooms. The room was clean and as long as small is ok with you, it will be fine. The decor is a...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 5 nights during Thanksgiving week. Overall, a pleasant hotel in an excellent location for a fairly reasonable price. Our room was on the ground floor, and was quite small but manageable. The one problem was an intermittent sewage smell coming from the water drain in the bathroom floor. It was quite overwhelming, especially...

Hotel is nicely renovated and decorated. Staff is very kind and helpful. Location is grear. We had a shared bathroom, it was impeccable every single time we went to it. Bed was a bit too soft, it wasn't very comfortable. But all in all, we had a fantastic stay. I would def stay here again, and I would recommend to...

We recently spent a weekend at the Seton the rooms were small but nicely finished. We may have even used shared bathroom down the hall to help 4 women get ready just a bit quicker LOL! There are limited amenities in the hotel but it doesn't promise something that's not there. Only comment I will make is we paid a...

Except for the lack of variety of food options nearby and at the hotel itself this is a great place. I'd go again. Staff are kind, easy to get downtown, uptown, all over in general. Parking available for a discount down the street.

We stayed two nights in room 303. It has two queen beds which were comfortable and in good shape. The building is old but in good shape. Bathrooms are nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet though I can understand some of the comments in other reviews about thin walls. Again, our room was very...

Mostly lovely stay at the Seton hotel. Staff are very helpful, very close to Grand Central which was really convenient! Room was small (king-single bed for two people) but comfortable. It could get quite warm in the room but was controllable with the aircon. The one downside was a one-off incident of overwhelming sewage smell in the room for about...

I sincerely apologize for the unpleasant smell you experienced for 10 minutes in your room. When we went to investigate this complaint we could not find anything that was emanating from the room itself. Since it came and went quickly we can only assume it came from outside of the hotel.

We stayed at the Seton hotel in November. The hotel is in a really convenient location just two blocks from Grand Central Station. The room was spacious by NYC standards and the bathroom also a good size. It was really clean, and importantly for us, the windows opened so you can get some fresh air. The hotel is boutique so...

We stayed here for 8 nights including Thanksgiving. I booked a room with a private bathroom. It could get a bit warm in the room which you couldn't control but the room itself was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and nice. I loved the location, not far from grand central station and in walking distance of the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
