My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and from the minute we walked through the door, we absolutely loved it. Every member of staff was polite and very helpful. The entire time we were there, we barely heard a peep from anyone. The hotel itself is very well presented. Location The location is pretty much ideal. It's roughly...

A friend and I stayed three nights at the Seton this past week. Our room was large and beautifully appointed; two double beds, a good size dresser, night stand with drawers, and a closet. The bathroom was tiled, walls and floor, with a lovely pedestal sink. I understand that the entire hotel has been recently renovated. The staff could not...

Seton Hotel is extraordinarily well located. Close to Grand Central and other important attractions in the city.Between Lex and Third Avenues, two Avenues that I love because you can find there anything you want! Stayed at the seton hotel for 10 nights. Great location, situated next to grand central station, mid town Manhattan. Lots of restaurants, diners near by. 50 min drive from JKF. The only negative I would say is, be aware when booking this hotel because not all the rooms have a shower, the hotel has shared facilities for some rooms. Rooms...

This hotel is very good value. Location was perfect and safe, few mins walk from grand central station. There is a shake shack next door. My room was very comfortable with robe, slippers, toiletries etc. The decor was nice and this was a room you could actually relax and spend some time in. The shared bathroom was spotless and cleaned...

Stayed there one night prior to a flight to Dubai from JFK. Selected it based upon previous reviews and mostly due to very easy walking distance to and from Grand Central Terminal and as we also wanted to see Top of the Rock. Rooms were very small much like those in Europe but it was clean and the desk people...

We stayed as a family of 4 at the Seton hotel in August. We had the family room with 2 double beds. The room is fairly basic and the double beds were small doubles so my children (10 and 14) were not too happy about sharing- they are probably better for younger children to share really. The room was at...

We were only in New York for 36 hours, so we just wanted something affordable and easy to get to. Seton Hotel has a great location just a couple of blocks from Grand Central and the Chrysler Building. We actually made the walk from Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza too. The rooms were cozy and we had one with a...

Super friendly front desk staff, chic lounge, and comfortable bed. You won't have a room fridge or room service, but in NYC, who cares? Location was central - walk to Central Park (long walk, but doable), around the corner from Grand Central Station, and walk to MoMA.

The Seton Hotel is well placed for your stay in New York City in midtown Manhattan. Only slight niggle is that there are no tea making facilities in your room - a coffee machine off the lobby is only available between 6 and 11 am - after a busy day sightseeing all you want is a nice cup of tea....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
