We had a brand new remodeled room with a sleeper sofa. The room was beautiful and enough room for 2 adults and 3 kids. MSG and Empire State Building out the window. Right across from Penn Station too which was very convienent. Would stay there again if we ever go back.

I enjoyed my stay here because it was very clean and the location is perfect: right in the fashion district very close to work and a couple blocks from the subway and around the corner from a good 24 hour diner, as well as many other restaurants. The only downside is the size of the rooms. They're small even by...

On entry to the reception area the New Yorker looks very grand and luxurious but it is a bit of a facade as the rest of the building and rooms are very dated and look like nothing has been touched since the 80's. The bell hop was very helpful and friendly and I did not begrudge tipping him for his...

Stayed here for 5 nights at the end of May, wow what a busy hotel, but I guess you should expect that in NY. First impression outside was not good as there was scaffolding up so you couldnt even see the hotel properly. Inside was lovely though. The reception area was very busy all the time with people waiting for...

I stayed at this hotel and really liked the deco in the lobby and the restaurant and at the bar and the restaurant. Great location for shopping at Macys and really really handy for connections at Penn Station. Our only gripe it the shower controls - (there isn't any) !! It took us ages to figure out how to control...

We stayed in the Wyndham New Yorker for a week in April 2014 and had a good stay. The room was small and a bit dated, but on the other hand it was clean and functional. You can't really complain about the room size in New York! The surrounding area is quite touristy which has its up and downside. The...

The Wyndham New Yorker Hotel is an ideal place to stay when visiting New York City, especially for the true theater lover.. It's location is within easy walking distance to all of the theaters in the Theatre District, but there is also a convenient subway station adjacent to the hotel. It is an older hotel, but has been thoroughly renovated...

Stayed last December for 7 nights , hotel is situated in great location on 34th street. Madison Square Garden is nearby which was perfect as we went to see Elton John while we were there. I stayed for 7 nights this month along with my mum and aunt. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
