We stayed at the inn for a couple nights, clean and spacious rooms. Conviniently located in the upper east side. Quiet and peaceful hotel. Amazing hospitality, breakfast was served timely and tastefully.

Stayed there years ago and it was a dump. Still is. DIRTY, DIRTY. If there was a lower rating then terrilbe it would deserve it. Anyone giving it a good rating must be related to the owners. STAY AWAY.

My short stay at the Gracie inn was fantastic. From the spacious rooms that give you a feeling of home, to the courteous and knowledgeable staff that make your stay as comfortable as the comforts of your own home. What more could you ask for. I would recommend friends and family to stay here to feel the comforts of home...

Recently I stood at the Gracie Inn. during the weekend of the NYC Marathon. I did not run, but I did go to show my support. Though I did not enter the race my touring around the great city was "marathon" enough for me. Leaving my legs and body sore and in high need of some home like comfort. The...

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Great neighborhood, the staff was gracious and helpful, and the rooms were clean and more spacious than we would have expected. Breakfast delivered to our room each morning was a nice touch. Excellent value for NYC, and a charming place to stay!

The video on the inn’s website is very deceiving. It shows the penthouse room where we stayed. Our stay was supposed to be a splurge, a highpoint of our trip. In reality, the accommodations were dirty and of low quality. The downstairs bedroom door did not close properly. The kitchenette was dumpy and the cabinets had drips down the front...

It's awfully hard to find an affordable room in NYC, and this place comes close. The upper East Side location is convenient to everything and the neighborhood feels very safe, even late at night. The whole place is tired and worn looking. it's not immaculate but is acceptably clean. The front desk is not staffed at all hours so if...

The Gracie Inn exceeded my expectations. Two friends and I traveled from the west coast to pay tribute at Ground Zero on 9-11. We stayed five nights. We were in the Jr. Penthouse and it was an absolute delight. Extremely clean and comfortable. We arrived at 1:30am, but had already been emailed instructions to enter building etc.prior to our arrival....

The Gracie Inn is a reasonably priced, fabulous and cute, quaint getaway that is situated in the upper East side of NYC. It is in a wonderful family neighborhood close and convenient to anything you want to see or do while in NYC. The owner, Daniel is simply marvelous! The Inn is clean, cute and he goes the extra mile...

The Gracie Inn bed and breakfast is a great place with a great price in New York city. It is close to everything including transportation. The area is safe. The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. The breakfast is not a hot meal, but the choices are many and we found we had more than we could eat. The...

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
