Good location (31st, corner Lexington), relatively calm `side-street`, and a price which was - compared to other hotels at that day - kind of acceptable I was in a positive mood when I arrived. The check in took 12 minutes, the credit card system did...More
Clean affordable and amazing location. Felt very safe and plenty of eating places close by. Bathrooms always clean and available. Wifi worked well and we had a view of the Empire State Building from our bedroom.
Great Location. Friendly and helpfull staff. Room was small, but OK for a couple. Room and bathroom were very clean. . Just one elevator (capacity:5) for a 12 story building. Breakfast: not a wide variety of meals

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
Same answer as ladywanderlust, street parking just outside but never any really sites and not sure about cost! You could always try ringing the hotel, they're very friendly and I'm sure they'll help you out.
