We stayed here, after researching hotels near Madison Square Garden. If you are looking for a modest, clean no-frills place to rest your head, then this is the place. We stayed on a shared bathroom floor but I will state, very strongly, that the bathrooms...More
I was looking at hotels in Manhattan for November, and it was pretty much impossible to find a standard hotel for under $250. So I gave Hotel 31 a try ($130 for a single), and was very glad I did! It was quiet, had a...More
My partner and I booked this hotel as it was cheap accommodation to use as a base for our 3 night stay in NYC.

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Same answer as ladywanderlust, street parking just outside but never any really sites and not sure about cost! You could always try ringing the hotel, they're very friendly and I'm sure they'll help you out.
