Fabulous stay all around and I can't wait for my next trip to New York! The entire staff was so helpful and I looked forward to seeing their smiling faces after a long hard day of work. Rooms are spacious, especially for New York and the bar and lounge are two great options to unwind without going far. The surrounding restaurants are also wonderful. If you've never stayed in Tribeca before, I highly recommend the neighborhood - it's my favorite in the city! Will be back at the Smythe again, hopefully soon.

We have stayed at 5-star luxury hotels in NYC before but this 4-star hotel (how it couldn't be a 5-star is beyond me) is so much better and more value for the buck! A fantastic hotel and staff at the perfect spot in TriBeca, just next to subway 123, a block away from ACE and just a little bit further from 6 and R. We will come back! They made our anniversary very memorable bringing us champagne and red roses to our room <3 What a amazing staff and the rooms are great and very modern! We first stayed at room 604 but a plumbing leak issue made us to change rooms and the staff gave us a luxury suite instead (room 910). The best thing about our stay at the Smyth was Mario and the gang at the front desk and door. It made our visit very special. Mario helped us in so many ways getting Ubers and drivers to the airport and giving us directions. We had lots of laughs.

Disclosure as I didn’t actually get to stay at the Smyth: my booking was cancelled due to incorrect pricing at the hotel’s end - no fault of my own - and when I tried to discuss this with management, I received no reply; certainly not something I expected from a four-star hotel.

Dear 112jakubo, While I understand this situation is frustrating, unfortunately, this was a technical issue with the online platform it was used to purchase your room. As you can understand, rates at $10 per night are not offered at the Smyth Tribeca and the situation was fixed immediately when it was brought to our attention. I understand they cancelled all reservations affected but offered a special rate. Even though we had no control about it, I am happy to do the same and accommodate your needs at a special rate. This was my 2nd stay at Smyth Tribeca and will not be my last. Love the location of the hotel. Appreciate the calm, quieter neighborhood after a long day of sight seeing.. The property is sophisticated and elevated. The staff are highly professional and extremely helpful. Edgar was available to assist us throughout our entire stay. He checked in with us regularly and made our visit memorable. I look forward to coming back next year. Thank you Smyth Tribeca and the entire team on the property.

Perfect location, just in front of metro station in Tribeca. Really nice interiors and the room with king size bed was incredibly big and perfectly clean. The staff is super kind and nice. We had also a nice dinner in the tavern. And the price is just perfect! Definately we will come back here and I will suggest it to all of my friends.

This is the first time I have stayed in Tribeca and it was perfectly located near the subway and within walkable distance to excellent restaurants and the lovely Battery Park. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are not 100% sound proof, so there was a bit of hallway and ambulance noise - normal in NYC - and the mattresses are not the best I have ever had at a hotel, which kept me from giving a 5 star review, but other than that this was a great stay, and I would absolutely stay again.
