Dissappointed and felt duped by french quarters . Reserved a room -charged full price . Partner and I are unable to go and when asked for a refund of any amount or rearrange the stay -received cheeky email saying that I had prepaid and wounding be eligible for a refund . So basically I gave them a blank cheque

I loved everything about French Quarters. Traveling with a group of friends, we had one double room and one suite with it's own balcony (!!!). The rooms were all quite spacious, especially compared to other hotels in the city. The hotel was immaculate, and the staff went above and beyond for the duration of our stay. The location couldn't be...

I agree with what the other good reviews report.... John, the manager is a great guy, nice continental breakfast, comfy bed, all this and that is good. Stay here. No worries..... Oh, yes, and it is a quiet street only a couple of blocks from Times Square.

This was my 4th time staying in this sweet little hotel and I'll be back again. I have now stayed in a double queen room, a king room, a two bedroom suite (with balcony!), and most recently a very small room with a double bed. The small room is prefect for one person. All of the rooms were warm, clean,...

Upsides: Rm 302 - large with a stuffed chair and ottoman, small desk and chair very comfortable bed and pillows. Greeted by John and shown to our room when we arrived. Found 2 complimentary small bottles of Evian in the refrigerator on our first day and by a bottle of Prosecco with a welcome note from Colin. Informative daily information...

Great size room although really dark. It is over a bar and you can be on the first floor which we were and it was noisy. Fantastic location only 5 minutes from Times Square but I really don't understand the ratings. This is a good functional hotel but nothing special.

Review French quarters We stayed at the F.Q for 5 nights in NYC and found the hotel after reseaching Trip Advisor- the way I have always booked our international and domestic travel and have never been disappointed. Good things about the hotel is the size of room and location. It is close to the broadway and the central park. Also, the room was clean. Management had a personal note welcoming greetings. One negative, which is a big deal, is that the room that we had was right on top of the bar. We were there Sat night...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
