I really enjoyed my stay! Clean and nice room, friendly and always helpful staff. No things to complain! The location of the hotel is excellent. Short distances to the subway and many nearby restaurants. The next time I'm in New York, I'll be happy to come back. Top price-performance ratio.

Hotel's Favourite
The owner is very warm and welcoming and treats every guest like a long-time friend. The rest of the staff is excellent as well, always ready to help with recommendations, amenities, directions, or whatever else you may need. The hotel itself is immaculate. The neighborhood outside is very loud but as soon as you enter the lobby you're met with sense of calm and quiet, and this peace is throughout the entire property. The rooms are small but not cramped, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. The bathroom is large, clean, and bright. The shower is hot and has a great shower head. The Manhattan Bridge and train were directly across from our window - you could see them but not hear them. The soundproofing is incredible. Blackout curtains make the room completely dark. The AC works great and is quiet. The bed and bedding was super comfortable in every respect. I have not slept this well in a long time. The hotel is in the heart if Chinatown (but not the tourist area) so you'll get the authentic Chinatown experience and there's plenty of food everywhere. The subway station is a quick 5 minute walk. Little Italy is a quick walk away also. I booked this property based on good reviews and was not disappointed. I will absolutely return to this location for future NYC trips.

Loved it! Nothing but good things to say about Hotel Mimosa. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. We were greeted warmly and given a list of recommendations for restaurants and cafes in the area. We were also allowed to store our luggage before check in and after check out which was so nice! The room was cozy, clean, and the bed was so comfortable. Location can’t be beat. Close to transit + unlimited food options. My partner and I continuously raved about what a good decision it was to stay here. Thank you again for providing us with such a great experience. :•)

Dear Mimosa Guest, Thank you for staying with us and for your good recommendation! Our location has so many great aspects to it for those who are interested in culture, who love to walk and explore, love great food and want to get a taste of real New York---what locals experience which is not skyscrapers and monument sites. There are many downtown artistic locations like ours in the great cities of Europe and Asia and we're so happy that we can have guests from everywhere come to visit. Looking forward to welcoming you again and take care and God bless!

We had a delightful stay at this gem! The owner was so gracious and took the time to give us excellent advice and take good care of us. The room was clean and well appointed. I enjoyed the European duvet covers and very comfortable beds, big bath towels, and full-sized bottles of shampoo, etc. They even had all the extra toiletries right in the room so if you were just coming in on a whim, you'd be all set. Great Chinatown location, walkable to so many cool things! Also just a short walk to the Grand St. B/D station for easy access to the rest of the city.

As always - staff is friendly and helpful, the provided restaurant recommendation lists steered us to some great meals, loved the location. Clean and quiet (the train is nearby but the noise didn't wake us up.) Right by the Manhattan Bridge which makes for a great morning stroll - take the Brooklyn Bridge back! Perfect every time we need a city getaway.

So welcoming, comfortable and professional. Hot water! Well insulated if not perfectly quiet, able to sleep despite trains and traffic. Recommend enthusiastically. Great part of town to discover new sights and smells, less touristy with solid local feel to business. Thank you.

Dear Guest, So wonderful to have met you and to have watched over your stay and we are especially gratified for your eloquent review. We aim to be a solid business which places guest stays as our top priority----perhaps without the typical luxury of large hotels but with the comfort, care, cleanliness, coziness & warm hospitality of a local inn or small European hotel. Thank you for your enthusiastic recommendation and we are already looking forward to welcoming you back in the future for your next New York stay and wish you God's blessings till we meet again!

Excellent location to move around the south part of Manhattan, close to transportation and to several points of Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho. Big bathrooms in the rooms and proper installations in the basement to heat up/eat meals. The list of recommendations to eat and places to visit was very welcome!

The Queen rooms are small but it was perfect for two people. The list of recommended restaurants and cafes we were given at check-in was super nice, too. Location was nice, lots of spots in the area. Staff was friendly and were kind enough to hold our bags for a few hours after we checked out which was so helpful.
