It saddens me to write such a negative review. First the room we booked was not available so we were actually downgraded with no compensation. The Front desk made no attempt to rectify the problem. There was never any contact with anyone at the hotel after checking in. Not a hello or good afternoon NOTHING ! But the worst is there is NO gym. The front desk stated it was being refreshed but hard to believe because we saw no signs and the property is new. This is false advertising the website sates there is a fitness center. There was an option to walk three blocks to another hotel. But who would want to walk in gym clothes in the cold. Not worth the money. Should have sucked it up and stayed at Pendry !
Great hotel and central location. It was a new building with nice amenities. It is the nicest Courtyard I have stayed in. I had a city view room with a queen bed. The room was spacious and had a long desk mounted to the wall and a chaise lounge. The walls were well insulate, so I could not hear noise from neighbors or the street. The hair dryer had good power. The Mobile Key entry was very convenient. Everything was very clean. The staff were friendly. There is a lot of space and seating areas in the basement lobby and first floor lobby.
Just had a very pleasant stay at this new, clean, and very nice property located just steps away from the Hudson Yards mall (and the 7 subway stop). Minimal street noise despite being on a low floor. Elevator waits were fairly short, and the staff were courteous and accommodating. Will definitely keep on my list of possible properties for future stays in the city!
We have stayed here multiple times in the past and each stay was great. This time was far from it. I had one room booked but added a second at the last minute to accommodate our group. Adding it was challenging as the first person I called on the property told me I had to add the room myself online. I called back and magically someone else could add it. Once we arrived things were OK until both TVs did not work properly, both showers leaked, one room had a wet carpet and our requested daily housekeeping never happened. I told the staff about the issues in the hopes they would do the right thing while we were there but they did not. Housekeeping did come but at 9 PM after we were ready for bed and the other items were either not resolved or no attempt was made to make things right for us. We have been Bonvoy members for years and this was one of our least enjoyable stays. Still hoping to hear from a manager. I was told they don't have one on the property all the time so each time I asked to speak to one...one was not available. We visit NYC often and will avoid this hotel now. Sad because it is a great location and other visits were perfect. …
Had a great stay here. Marvin at check-in was super helpful because when there was a minor issue with my room, he quickly assigned me to another room without delay. He also made sure I was taken care of when I asked for an extra blanket and other amenities like dry cleaning. Housekeeping was great too and everyone’s super friendly. A solid hotel with great staff.
The location was very good and the rooms were very spacious and clean and the house keeping was very well done. They had 4 elevators making it very comfortable reducing the wait time. Breakfast was not included in my room but there is a restaurant/ cafe inside the hotel which is very reasonable in terms of pricing and they have take away service and opens at 7am which is very convenient. I also used the dry cleaning service which they have express service and delivery the laundry to your room. The business is center is very small with 2 computers and you can print with free access in black and white. The hotel is located right in front of Hudson Yards which is also very convenient for shopping. During late midnight I realized there was slight noise between the walls and could hear people talking on their phones inside the rooms. …
I arrived at the hotel after a long trip and was late for a meeting I was met at the reception by Zack an incredible receptionist that made our check in seem less and fast. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious for a NY hotel It is located opposite Hudson yards and very easily accessible. Would recommend it and would stay there again
If you have business in Chelsea and are quickly in and out of NYC this property is good enough. We needed to be on the west side near Hudson Yard for an event and it worked out well. The hotel was typical Cortyard , the staff friendly and the space was fine. Unless I was single on business I would not consider this property for any extended visit.
This hotel was better than expected. I don't write a lot of reviews but wanted to share what an excellent experience we had. We were in town overnight to see a concert at Madison Square Garden. The front desk staff (Nigeria, Shah) were so friendly & helpful, can't say enough good things about them. Room was clean and neat, good view. Hotel is in a great location, very close to Hudson Yards and shopping, as well as public transit. If you drive in, it's also very close to west side highway, so easy to get out of the city. They also validated (discounted) our parking. Will definitely stay here again.
I stayed for 4 nights and found it better than expected. I could walk to Hudson Yard within 4 min. There are lots of local restaurants and art galleries near the hotel. The rooms are clean and staff are friendly. I will definitely return.
