Liked · When we arrived, it turned out that we had not understood the room type (Booking is confusing here - premium high floor is not a great choice), so we needed to explore an upgrade. Staff person Julia managed it, while we went up to the Terrace (6th floor open air lounge) and had a Cosmo, and she then delivered the new key and arranged for the transfer of baggage, all while we enjoyed the air and the view - quite a comforting, relaxing way to start our 5 days in NYC. The room was perfect for our needs, housekeeping exceptional, beds and pillows super comfy. Disliked · price a bit steep, not crazy but hard on the wallet
Great local, good skyline views. The rooms were quiet with regards to floors above & below us, which of course is great. There are always people that let their doors slam, which is unfortunate. The pillows are amazing, and I have many issues with pain especially when trying to sleep, and so I was delighted by them. The room decor kind of sucked as they appear to have all the same ugly artwork in all rooms. The rooms are very clean however, and if we ever needed more towels or anything, the response was almost immediate. Overall, we would recommend this hotel. Great location and staff was great.
We stayed at this hotel on our recent visit to New York. The location is wonderful and convenient to everywhere whether it was within walking distance or by subway! Our room overlooked Bryant Park which was so serene while being situated in the middle of everything. 3 blocks from Times Square and Broadway, and on the block between Fifth and 6th Avenue) The views from our room as well as the Terazzo Terrace on the 6th Floor can't be beat- The New York Public Library, The Empire State Building, and Bryant Park and the skyline at night were beautiful and a beautiful backdrop to the drinks and food they served. Our room was a great size, especially by New York standards and was lovely and well kept. I loved the special snack and bottle of Cosmos in our room when we arrived recognizing my birthday. Such a noice touch. This hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and the park across the street was so peaceful and provided us with a great place to relax after a busy day, with drinks and meals from the restaurants, cafes, and vendors inside and around the park. The staff was so helpful and attentive during our stay with recommendations for places to eat, the best way to get certain places, etc. The day we left was the first day of the UN Summit and to say it was difficult to get transportation to the airport would be an understatement! HOWEVER, the staff and manager secured a taxi for us despite having to try numerous times because taxis and ride shares kept cancelling due to traffic conditions and roads being shut down for the arrivals of everyone for the UN activities. I cannot recommend this hotel, its location and the staff highly enough. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to New York and will recommend it to anyone going to NYC.…
We stayed here for 5 nights last week and whilst the hotel was nice and clean, the amenities and general ambience were a bit lacking. The lobby was tiny and often overcrowded, the rooms were nice but had little storage to unpack. Hotel was very expensive but that is just New York. Probably wouldn't return.
My sister and I recently stayed at Park Terrace Hotel in July and had such a positive experience. The staff including Skyy and Harry were exceptionally welcoming. Everyone at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. They were very helpful when I forgot items, asked for a different pillow and of course, did not have my key card on me and therefore could not access my room. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, located in a very convenient location and enjoying complimentary coffee on the rooftop was a nice bonus. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel! In fact, my friends booked this hotel for their trip next month as I could not recommend it more.
The moment we arrived, were greeted by friendly front desk employees. Our room was clean, and well kept. The hotel was centralized to all of our needs. You are close to Grand Central, and subway access. My only small criticism was that they need to get a bigger ice machines. They seem to run out very easy.
Nice hotel with friendly staff and great access to Broadway. It's adjacent to Bryant Park and there are great restaurants nearby. Rooms are small, but nicely decorated. And the property is very clean.
This was a great find. Right opposite Bryant Park, with good access to the subway if needed. However it is so central it’s very easy to walk everywhere. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. There is a lovely terrace bar on the 6th floor with a superb view of the Empire State Building.
Great hotel in Bryant park! Went with hubby for a parents night away. Great location! Levi was so helpful and amazing! Thanks for assisting us with everything! Room was spacious. We were on the floor with the lounge! We will definitely be back!
I recently stayed at the Park Terrace for a combination of business and pleasure. I am glad I stayed here after weighing up various hotel options. The hotel has well appointed rooms, modern and clean with good facilities. I had a premier room, it was a long and narrow room with a small kitchenette area a couch and a bench/table that was movable with height adjustment. The bed was real small, lucky to be travelling alone because I couldn’t have shared this bed ! The bathroom was also real small, a bit too small to be comfortable I would say, but it was well designed and was functional. Unfortunately my room only had a view onto another building and was dark but the bonus was it was fairly quiet. The restaurant in the lobby seems independently run and gets very busy at night - booking essential. I had breakfast there and it was very good. Room service is very slow. The staff are pretty good, although seem a bit inexperienced. The location is very good with Bryant Park right across the street. The price was high, but that’s NY right !…
