The Artezen Hotel is located in the middle of the Financial District, just a few meters from the 9/11 Memorial. Perfectly located on several subway lines, so you can quickly get anywhere. Brooklyn Bridge and Ellis Island jetty are within walking distance. The area is safe and has good restaurants in the area. Safe for business trips, but for us tourists also a super base from which to explore NY. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Christian at the reception was always especially nice. Rooms are meticulously clean. Every day the room is thoroughly cleaned and 3 new bottles of water and fresh Nespresso capsules are placed in the room. There is no breakfast, but there is a nice cafeteria right downstairs. In the 20. Stock there is a nice bar, during the week with happy hour. We would definitely come back!

Absolutely fabulous hotel, wonderfully comfortable king size bed, lovely cotton sheets and pillows on a well made bed, no ill fitting sheets or duvets here! For a small room there was ample, well thought out storage with 4 large pull out drawers under tour king size bed. The room contained a mini fridge, espresso coffee machine, large TV and small hand held steam iron. There were a couple of packets of complimentary crisps, biscuits and water which was a nice touch. There was a privacy light on the door if you did not require room service. We had them freshen the room half way through our stay, when we returned, they had thoroughly cleaned through and changed all the bedding. The room was spotless. Bathroom quite big with huge shower and good water pressure. We were in room 1705 which was quite high up and at the back of the hotel, really surprised as to how quiet it was considering we were in the middle of NY city, no noise from adjoining rooms either. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and so welcoming. When you step outside the door the area is a little off putting but to to be honest it felt extremely safe. There is an Irish bar across the street if you arrive late and are wanting a quick meal or a drink. Just around the corner there is a “Pret A Manger” with an eating area for breakfast items such as lovely almond croissants or warm savoury items and good coffee to start you off on your day. This is classed as the financial district and very close to the 9/11 site and not far from battery park where you get the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. We were a little worried about the subway but there has been a massive change around here since we were here last, everywhere felt much safer and cleaner even though a lot of buildings seemed to be covered in scaffolding for some reason. We did not find lots of restaurants in the immediate area but a 5-10 minute walk took you to plenty. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough. After a hard day trekking the city, so nice to have a homey haven to come back to, wonderful shower and amazing bed for a well earned good nights sleep.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and staff. My partner and I have just returned following a 4 night stay and I can honestly say our stay was faultless. The staff are incredibly accommodating, very helpful, friendly (particular mention to the lovely doorman who was there most days of our stay - sorry we didn't catch his name!). The hotel is immaculate. Beautifully decorated for the holiday season, spotlessly clean and spacious.

Our room was large and spacious with the biggest bed I've ever slept in! Water was replenished daily as well as Nespresso pods and the welcome snacks in the room were a lovely touch.

The bathroom was lovely too and again very spacious.

The room and bathroom had everything you could need and more from soft fluffy large towels and robes and slippers to toiletries, wash cloths and more.

Other than the construction work occuring the other side of the road (which wasn't too noisy) our stay was peaceful and quiet which is a rarity in New York!

Only a minutes walk to the nearest subway station, 5 minutes to the 9/11 memorial and museum and with super easy connections to everywhere else it really was the perfect choice of hotel and the location was spot on!

We will absolutely stay here again for next year's trip too.

Thank you so much to all of the staff for making it perfect and all of your hard work

I did a lot of research before picking a hotel to stay in NYC. During that research I discovered his hotel had the highest volume of great reviews. After staying there myself, I can confirm this hotel is the place to stay in NYC! The location is practical with a subway station right around the corner. If you have any questions there's always a concierge in the lobby to guide you. In our case, Daniel and Cristian were wonderful. They let us know that they can schedule a driver to pick us up and take us to the airport (which I will take advantage of next time!) At the time the price was the same if not a bit less for the driver compared to your Lyft or Uber service. The rooms were cleaned daily (with water and snacks restocked) and at night it was quiet. Will be staying here again !

OMG! Where do I start?! Such an amazing stay! From the staff all the way to the clean rooms and comfy beds! This place was perfect. Truly home away from home!
First let's start with customer service, Stephanie the front desk receptionist, Peter, Daniel, and Jose...all were exceptional! They made us feel like family and genuinely showed interest in all we had going on. We felt very welcomed! From the moment we pulled up to hotel the customer service was stellar! There is no parking at the hotel but there's a nice parking garage three blocks over that offers overnight parking. Great feature! We stayed during Halloween and there was Halloween candy throughout the hotel lobby which was a fun treat for the kid in us! Connected to the hotel is a new wonderful coffee shop that is phenomenal with delicious samples of different tasty pastries and pizzas. The Churro latte is a must try! The Fulton Street subway station is literally right out the door and will take you anywhere you want to go in the city! This hotel is located in the Financial District with Wall Street right within walking distance along with great pizza across the street and tons of other good eats! We honestly didn't want for anything during our stay. We hated to leave...until next time (soon) Artezen! Thank you!!

I can only speak highly of this hotel. The staff was really nice and helpful. Comfortable room clean and with all comforts. Equipped with Nespresso machine (which for us Italians is a lifesaver), water kettle and refrigerator. Cleaning was done daily, and every day they changed us without asking for anything all the towels. They also supplied us daily with bottles of still water and coffee capsules. If I return to New York I will definitely come back here. It is located in a quiet area, a stone's throw from Ground Zero, Wall street and the boat that leads to the Statue of Liberty. It is close to all metro stops and several shops useful for your stay.

We went to New York for the first time with my wife two weeks ago and we stayed for 10 nights. The hotel is a relatively small hotel, which makes the treatment more personalized and well maintained. A special mention goes to all the concierges and staff. reception who were always attentive to all the details, especially Cristian (greetings to the Uruguayan in room 1701) who was the one we talked with the most and always gave us advice on what to do and places of interest, a genius, the location It is excellent because having Fulton Center next door in a matter of 20 minutes you are on the other side of Manhattan, without a doubt we will return next year

Fantastic 5 day stay at The Artezen! This will officially be my new go-to hotel for future visits to NYC.

The staff is incredibly kind, hospitable, friendly, and helpful. The room I stayed in was wonderfully clean. The lobby and elevators were kept clean and sanitized, as well. Housekeeping was visibly/actively cleaning too.

The rooms have very nice features, including a Nespresso machine and refrigerator, great water pressure in the shower, C.O. Bigelow body products, a desk for working, reliable WiFi, and water bottles + delicious quality snacks (Fiji or Poland Springs water, Biscoff cookies, Deep River potato chips).

Room 1903 even came with a view.

The location is ideal for exploring, with Fulton Street Subway station access at the end of the block on John Street (for the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, J, R, and Z lines). The 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Brooklyn Bridge, Federal Hall, Charging Bull, the South Street Seaport, etc.are all nearby, and Chinatown, Tribeca, Lower East Side, etc. are an easy walk. There's a Whole Foods and Eataly nearby, Duane Reade across the street.

This is the first hotel in many years that I have no complaints for!
The Artezen’s staff were kind and courteous, always greeting you and asking how they could help.
The room was very well equipped - queen sized bed with a comfortable mattress; working smart TV; fresh water daily/coffee pods daily. The main reception area was tastefully decorated and always smelt amazing but moreover, the hotel and room were always spotless and there was a daily maid service including clean sheets.
The room itself had no signs of wear and was immaculate.
The location of the hotel was perfect for us. You are in the financial district so you’re close to some restaurants and bars and the subway but not in the main business of it all. We were also close to the one world observatory and Brooklyn bridge.
Sadly we didn’t get to sample the bar as we ran out of time.
My husband used the gym area daily which was small but equipped for what he needed.
The only thing that would make this 11/10 would be a pool/spa. I know this would be a big ask but that would really put the icing on the cake.
We would 100% return to the Artezen and would highly recommend to anyone - thank you for a wonderful stay.

6-night stay at the Artezen Hotel, located near the FULTON metro station, a stone's throw from the 9/11 Memorial.

The staff always greeted us with a smile and very politely.

The "Complimentary" type room was ideally located on a very high floor and on the interior courtyard side, which greatly contributed to the return to calm and relief after a crazy day in the streets of NY.

Few rooms per floor, we were lucky not to hear our neighbors in the hallway.

The bedroom (1 King Size bed) is rather small, the cupboard is also quite small but the bed frame has 4 drawers which allows you to store a lot of things. Hangers / Safe in the closet.

** Please note: the mattress is very very comfortable **

The bathroom is functional (hygiene products / hair dryer)
A coffee/water/chips tray is replenished every day (this is part of the famous FEES to pay - Additional taxes to be paid before or after the stay, consumed or not, you will pay them for all the days spent at the hotel)

No restaurant therefore no breakfast.

Finally I will end with the most important: everything is clean in the hotel!
No pests / No odor!

AC - Room 1705 - Stay from 06 to 12/09/23
