Good situated next to 9/11, big room compared with other hotels. Free water (it was very hot in nyc), subway nearby, fridge,, friendly staff, rooftopbar, very good free coffee. For breakfast: dunkin donut & Starbucks next to the hotel. Quiet at night to sleep, real good bed.
Except no breakfast, everything else is excellent. The free washer dryers is the best perk. Big lobby and waiting area and ability to hold luggage on the check out day helps. The 20th floor views are not to miss.
This is amazing place to visit with family or friends. Lunch and dinner food is very delicious. We enjoyed more modern rooms, cool restaurants, and convenient locations. It has good adventurous place.
May not be your first choice, but should be. Had an amazing view and great, safe location! People say rooms are small but you I felt it was a decent size! Loved this hotel. It was the most favorite part of my trip! Was a great 10 year anniversary stay!
It was my first visit to World Centre Hotel. Last time was to Millenium Hilton which is very close. All I have to say is that the hotel is beautiful, clean and with nice rooms. I had a room with view to WTC which I suggest. Everything was great.
This hotel is perfectly situated just steps from many top attractions. We checked in quickly, our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We had a queen bedroom suite with a separate living area overlooking the 9/11 memorial. The room was well laid out and felt spacious. WiFi was always fast a reliable. The deck on the 20th floor was a nice place to relax at the end of the day. We added on daily breakfast which we ordered the night before and was delivered to our room every morning.
PROS: Location - right by One WTC and close to a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops and activities. In-room - Bed was comfortable, but I noticed it would move around as I tossed & turned. Flow of the room was not ideal, and if you have large luggage, it could make things quite cramped. Shower was nice, and never had a problem with hot water or water pressure. Other: While I didn't use it, I noticed there was coffee available in the hotel lobby. Additionally, each floor had empty reusable water bottles and cold filtered water stations available. CONS: Service - Check-in was bumpy at best. Lots of people in a cramped, narrow lobby, with two staff members. The process was: Check in with the staff, then move over to a kiosk (only two were up and running) to complete the process. When finished, you receive key cards, but have to return back to the staff member to figure out what room number you have. Doesn't seem to make sense. Additionally, I found someone else's sock in my room, and a few different areas where housekeeping lacked. When I brought this up to the front desk and told them I was leaving to go to another hotel, the response was just "Okay, you're all set." Elevators: There are four elevators being used in the hotel that take you to guest rooms, but at any given time, only three were up and running. I found myself waiting for a few minutes at a time whenever I needed to use the lift. Wi-fi: I never was able to get consistent wireless that could handle anything more than basic web pages. I was attempting to work from the hotel but couldn't ever connect to a zoom call with a consistent connection. It was free, but I reverted to using mobile data instead because it was not reliable. Other: So much about the hotel just feels slightly off. The strange check-in process, the lack of any kind of customer service, funky layouts.…
Nice bed, overwhelmed staff. Chaotic check in with long lines. . Rooms not ready until after 3pm. Good location World Trade Center. Climate control not working. Bedside outlets not working. They did nothing to address problems. Would not recommend.
I love the room and the stay was as I hope but I had a big big big problem with the bill. The hotel, which I payed mostly cashed, charged me without any sense an amount of 362 uSa in order of no show with the malicious intention of dating it the next day of my real check in. So take care of that and take it into account. It s a pity this attempt of stealing money from their guest with no need. I could be a 5 but for this it s a big hugh zeroooooo
It’s been awhile since I’ve been to NYC due to Covid restriction. First time staying at this hotel. I must say was very pleased . My room was on 19th floor. It was ok size for NYC. Hotel was close to subways and several places to eat. I would definitely stay again. No daily housekeeping but if you needed anything just ring front desk. Oh and I arrived on my birthday and they gave me a nice gift of spa nuts & chocolate. So sweet
