Yes, this is a quality hotel in a great location, as numerous reviews attest. These comments are based on a five night stay. But to maintain its enviable reputation The Crosby might do a few things better. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room are essential - especially for travelers from afar. There were none. And in this day...

My wife and I recently spent three nights at Crosby Street Hotel and we could not have been more charmed by what we found within that delightful hotel. The exterior facade of the hotel stands in sharp contrast to the older buildings surrounding it. Its modernity stands in significant but not disconcerting contrast to the rest of the neighborhood, upon setting...

This Hotel is a serene and charming place in the middle of soho's hustle and bustle. The location is perfect, lots of great shops and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel itself is lovely decorated...the restaurant/bar is very elegant yet cosy, the rooms are beautiful with huge windows. It is a wonderful place to relax and unwind with very friendly...

Exceptional Rioja by the glass. Pricey, but good atmosphere for couples and small groups. Friendly bar staff on a day when it wasn't too busy. Didn't get to try the garden but looks beautiful. Mixed crowd of older, younger, male, female. Worth a drink!

We stayed one night at The Crosby Street Hotel out of four nights while in NYC. We both wished we stayed more at The Crosby, but it was our first trip to NYC, and we wanted to stay in more than one area. We arrived before check-in. They handled our bags and we went off and explored the area. Check-in...

The Crosby Street Hotel is pure luxury, as with all other Firmdale Hotels I have been lucky enough to visit - great staff, fabulous bedrooms, lovely decor throughout - a real haven amidst the hussle and bustle of NYC. Thanks to everyone there for a great trip.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a long weekend for his birthday. Couldn't ask for a better hotel and it's in the best location. The room service is quick and everyone is really cool. Top of line mini bar to top it off. Don't stay anywhere else.

I just love this hotel every time i am in NYC. From its comfort, to its design element, to the food, to the service. Plus, there is an Equinox next door. Insider tip = Book a deluxe room on floor 7 or higher, facing to the East. This will afford you some nice lower Manhattan city views.

It is my favorite hotel in NYC when we come for a romantic weekend. I don't come here for business cause usually this one is too expensive and I don't mind going for less. But when we do want to spend - the Crosby is amazing. Just go down the stairs and look at all those stylish lobby rooms to...

Great location in interesting neighborhood away from the neon-sign noisy and hoplessly touristy mid-town Manhattan. Well appointed rooms, terrific restaurant/Bar and outdoor cafe. Service is impecable. Can get anywhere in Manhattan by taxi or nearby subway. Downtonwn Manhattan rocks.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
