We have traveled many times to NYC to see Broadway shows and have stayed in many Times Square hotels. This was our first visit to the Intercontinental, but will not be our last! The hotel's location is perfect...a block from Times Square and in the heart of the trendy restaurants in Hells Kitchen. The staff is very professional and friendly....

Whilst classing itself as "Times Square" - it's actually off to one side and a short walk from the centre of Times Square - which suited us perfectly as it was surrounded by Theatres, Bars, Restaurants and a Subway station. The food in the hotel was on the more expensive side for a 4 Star hotel - but the quality...

Booked two night stay with points and signed up to pay for upgraded room if available at check in. Got a corner room on high floor with great view. After settling in got a call from the desk asking if I wanted to see and potentially change to a better room. Mentioned we were in town for wedding anniversary after...

Stayed twice over the last three months and the service and overall feel of the hotel is first class. The lobby and staff are a cut above the average for a hotel around Times Square. Rooms are average size but finished very well. There has been a lot of thought put into the decor and everything fits together well. If...

Our family spent four nights at the Intercontinental and were very pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and quiet and the hotel is a block from the heat of Times Square. The only knock on the hotel was the attached bar/lounge which was staffed by indifferent, unpleasant waitstaff. Not a deal-breaker, but unfortunate in an...

This hotel is in a great location for exploring NYC, but falls WAY short in terms of the InterContinental brand standards. Areas where this hotel fell short: - Check-in assistant was chewing gum the entire time, and disinterested, felt like she was doing you a favour checking you in. - Half an hour wait to speak to the concierge, was...

Fab hotel. Lovely room, large bathroom, rainfall shower, lots of space, great location. And apart from occasional siren, quiet...... Next block to Al Hirschfield Theatre and Kinky Boots (which is fab by the way !!) Only reason 4 stars is because the cost of the items in the room is UNBELIEVABLE !! First night, late arriving due to delays, grabbed...

Nothing but great feedback for the hotel. Its adequately placed a block away from all of time square and central to the theater district and close nearby Hells Kitchen shops, restaurants, and more. While it’s not on Broadway Street (where all the big screens are in Times Square), the hotel is ideally located a few blocks (walking distance) from Times Square. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
