Overall a very nice hotel. Located right off of Times Square in the heart of the action. However, on the high side even for a NY hotel. Fortunately I had points to use so my stay was free. Pros: - Location - Excellent Staff - Nice size rooms (for NYC) - Decent TV with decent Channel selection Cons: - No...

The hotel is conveniently located for access to Times Square yet at a distance where you can be removed from the noise and congestion. Staff are alert to your every need and the acknowledgement afforded all guests, frequent stayer or not, is very welcoming. The staff at this establishment would certainly lead to many guests returning to this hotel. The...

We stayed at the intercontinental for 3 nights at the end of March. The rooms were beautiful, we had 2 interconnecting as we are a family of 4. We could not fault anything. The beds were super comfortable and we had a fantastic view of the city. Breakfast was wonderful also. It is in a great location, close to Broadway,...

Caveat emptor (your experience could be different); but, this hotel and its staff went out of their way to make me and my family feel like we just got the key to the city. The room and view were great! On top of that, the location is prime, Time Square real estate. If there's one minor ding against the hotel,...

OMG once you walk through the front doors you feel calm and out of the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Great location and an excellent restaurant for a hotel. The staff is efficient and very friendly. My favorite aspect though is the extremely comfortable bed. I'm researching how to buy one for my home. It's my second time there...

I found this hotel at a bargain rate! The rooms are large by NYC standards and the beds are heavenly. Close to the Theatre District, Times Square, subway and shopping! Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
