We are a family of 3 (2 adults and 14 year old) who stayed at San Fermin B&B for two nights in Sep 2016 while visiting New York. It was a FANTASTIC experience and it started with the host Bernardo. Due to our flight being delayed in LA, we didn't arrive at Newark until close to midnight - I phoned... More

We stayed at the San Fermin for the NYCity marathon. This place is very well located, less the five minute walk to the express line to Downtown Manhattan. In just three stop you are in Times Square, 35-45 minutes away depending on what time you arrive at the station. Clean and ample space, with kitchenette for coffe, breakfast and snacks.... More

The rooms are large and airy, the proprietor Bernardo is extremely helpful with information on local supermarkets, cafes, etc., and on New York's... More

I have only great things to say about The San Fermin B&B!! Bernardo is a helpful, informative and all round great host! Nothing was a problem! He made us feel welcome and confident in our new surroundings. The room was lovely, and only a stones throw from the subway! I highly recommend. Gabriel and Nadia

Staying in Harlem

Neighbourhood Profile
Harlem
As a hub of African American culture, Harlem has played a vital role in the history of New York City. Today, the neighbourhood is as vibrant as ever as new businesses and developments go up next to local institutions. The heart of the neighbourhood is bustling 125th Street, where street vendors and historic landmarks like the Apollo Theater mingle with big-name stores. Turn down almost any corner, and you’ll discover some of the most beautiful blocks in the city, filled with handsome brownstones, soul food restaurants, corner shops, and scenic parks.
