I just spend 3 nights in the Nolitan and had a really fantastic time there. The hotel was great, room lovely, stylish, clean, bright and bed extremely comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful and inviting, always there to advise and answer any questions we had. Location was great, lots of nice restaurants and bars in the neighborhood...

Thank you so much for reviewing our hotel. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the room and our staff was able to tend to your needs. Our location is the hot spot for restaurants, bars, shops and galleries. Dear Connor, Thank you for your Trip Advisor review! We are so happy that everything went well during your photography shoot. Our staff tries our best to accommodate our guests; especially during a shoot like this. Our restaurant Bread has delicious Italian food. We are also located right in the center of Soho, Lower East Side, and Chinatown. We hope...

Nice modern hotel. The rooms are clean but very noisy. The reception will give you earplugs if needed. Wifi needs to be better, really bad connection and speed. Breakfast is available in the restaurant next door (same building). We had a continental breakfast included. The continental breakfast is coffee, orange juice, a croissant and a muffin. So after a few...

This boutique hotel in the Heart of Nolita/Soho is amazing. When you arrive to the hotel that staff greets you all smiles and immediatley give you the run down of the neighborhood. My mother and I came to visit my sister who lives in the neighborhood and this is where we will stay from now on. The food in the...

Beautiful and clean boutique hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. We loved the style of the hotel. It is an industrial style but has great touches to make it warm and inviting. I loved the Aveda bath products! The complimentary slippers are also a nice touch. Only drawbacks are that it IS on a busy street so street noise...

Good location for sure. Interesting design indeed and friendly staff. No question. But rooms are a bit on the "cheap side", very very small and street is extremely noisy. Of course, our previous stay was at the Standard Highline, so it is a tough comparison. But still, Nolitan is not THAT cheap either, so you could probably get a little...

Hello Dom1963, Thank you for taking the time out to write us a review! Our rooms are admittedly small, but this is a standard size for hotels in the surrounding area. We understand the frustrations regarding noise level and apologize for any disturbances you may have encountered during your stay. Construction and street noise can be rather unpredictable, however, if...

The rooms at The Nolitan Hotel are modern, clean, and cozy- ok, they're tiny but pretty decent by NYC standards. Great downtown location, decent views from higher floors. Some rooms have small terraces.

The Nolitan was everything I expected for a small boutique hotel in a small neighborhood. Very clean and staff very friendly. The rooms are small so I cannot imagine staying longer than 3-4 nights unless upgraded to larger suite if available. The location is very good. A lot of restaurants in close proximity - the best is the Egg Shop...

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
