This is now my third stay at this hotel and I continue to be impressed with the staff, rooms and service. The club lounge is good and well stocked for food and drinks whilst the staff member working there is so friendly and accommodating.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

This is truly my home away from home. I have been here about every other month, and out of the hundreds of hotels I could choose, I keep on coming back here. I continue to be amazed by the level of customer service that I receive every time I return to the Sheraton Tribeca. I first met Colin Hughey last...

I booked this hotel rather last minute after finding a good price on the hoteltonight app. We were driving in and this was extremely convenient from the Holland Tunnel, minimizing the amount of NYC traffic and gridlock I had to deal with and valet parking was available. I found each and every hotel staffer to be very friendly and courteous,...

Receptionist who check us in provide us the worse service a 4 star hotel can offer. We arrived there April 5 and stayed for 6 nights we stayed in 619 and our parents in 606. I did not even hear her greet us atleast good afternoon :-(. She just simply say checking in ask the name and the credit card...

Rooms at this hotel are wuite reasonably priced. Mine was $179. The room itself was quite ok. Nothing fancy, but quite ok. The server at the Starbucks could be the worst I have experienced at any of their locations world-wide. He simply should not be working in the service industry. I booked this hotel to be near Soho, and it...

Good location even if rooms can be quite noisy with all the traffic on Canal Street. Friendly service, yet not very switched on: room is made up quite late and often there's no change of towels until you request it. Rooms are not very big, but furniture is bulky and doesn't leave much space in a room which is already...

I was travelling with my young son who had just turned 12 so had booked a twin bedded room through a very reputable travel agent 6 months previously for a 6 day stay in New York so I was pretty furious that when we checked in at around 5pm we were told that there was no twin room available to...

I booked this hotel as I knew that Tribeca is a cool area--but I did not realise that Canal Street is probably the worst street in all of Manhattan! There is constant traffic as it leads to the Holland Tunnel and it does not feel safe at all, with lots of illegal vendors, homeless people and other very dodgy looking...

Dear Suzzanne M, Thank you so much for your review. We are saddened you did not have an excellent experience with us and can understand how Canal Street may not have been what you expected. Our location being at the edge of Tribeca and Chinatown gives the hotel a unique identity. The staff will be excited to hear that you...

We visited New York on a cold April 2017 with my wife, my one year old daughter and my parents. We decided to stay on Sheraton Tribeca for the convenient location and for the reputed name of the hotel. Sadly only the first part was successful. Probably we are spoiled by the Dubai standard in the hotel but Tribeca doesn't...

Good experience at this hotel! Staff were great! Rooms were a good size for New York. Close to subway. You can walk to wall st area. Only negative is that canal st is very busy and it was extremely hard to get a cab.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
