Stayed here last week with my husband and teenage son. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Right across the street from a subway stop. There are PLENTY of restaurants and shopping in the area. On our previous visit to NYC last spring we stayed in Times Square. That was a good choice for our first visit to the city...

Dear Janchas, We are so glad that you enjoyed the staff and location! I'd have to agree about the size of the rooms which is, of course, typical of New York City hotels. I'd probably propose a 2 shoes limit on your next visit! Haha. But in all seriousness, our location really is great and we are happy you were...

We spent 4 days in New York. Close to NYU - we walked there daily. Easy to catch the subway to many of the sights. And great area to take a walk and find little jewels. So many great restaurants and shops. The hotel room was small but very neat and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpfull. Will...

For the class of this hotel, we gave it 5 stars. I always choose Marriott whenever possible. I think they have great management, and I really like the way they treat their employees and allow them to work their way up. I chose this hotel based on the reviews and location. My husband and I came into the city for...

Decided to stay in the lower part of Manhattan as opposed to our usual Upper West Side haunts. Arrived Friday around 7pm...asked for a quiet room but first room we were given was on the 11th floor right on Varick Street. The street noise would have made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Back downstairs and were...

on Varick Street near SoHo, this is a solid choice for lower Manhattan. Good location though not in the heart of things, it was a 35 minute walk down to the 9/11 memorial and museum, 15 minute walk to Greenwich Village/Washington Park, 25 minute walk to Little Italy and 30 minute walk to Chinatown. Not bad unless it is very...

This hotel provides a comfortable, fairly spacial room with a king bed. Room 1706 offers a nice view of the Empire State Building. The staff are very knowledge about attractions and restaurants in the area. They are very good at providing easy to follow directions to those places. A pleasant place to stay.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They treated the guests much better than other hotels I've stayed in. Everything was very clean, check in and check out were a breeze, and they even gave out Halloween goody bags!

We stayed at Courtyard Soho for six nights Our room was on the 19th floor. The room had a lovely view of the Empire State. The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. Wi-fi worked very well. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Although it is a big hotel with 20 floors, there is only two elevators....

You can always count on Marriott for cleanliness, comfort and friendliness of staff. We had a great overnight staying in Soho instead of staying in the theater district this time. The hotel was easily accessible to the subway system which makes getting around NY much easier than taking a taxi.
