overall a nice hotel, close to Times Square and easy walking distance to some of the local attractions. never seen the arrangements to use the lifts in any other hotel before. It certainly a novel way and it worked

Extremely small and very noisy room. We could hear word for word the people next door. Doors banging at all hours and staff at the desk most unhelpful when asked to move rooms. We were told we were in the biggest room when in actual fact it was one of the smallest

Is located in Times Square (3 minutes walking) so the location is perfect if you are visiting New York. The rooms are a little bit small but good, a bit noisy but ok. It is clean and the service very kind and friendly For sure I will come back for the location

Location was perfect to walk to Times Square, catch the subway, walk to Broadway shows and numerous restaurants and shopping nearby. Beds were comfortable and rooms decorated simple and modern. All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly.

Hotel is in a great location, with Times Square, Broadway theatres and the 42st subway station at your footsteps. 8th ave location makes travelling easy, whether it be on foot or straight onto A, C and E trains up or downtown. The hotel itself was ok. Room was very small, more like a dormitory. Check in wait was a bit...

W had a group meeting for business visits and activities - great, central locale. The lobby layout is great. Plenty of room for impromptu meeting, drinks and meals. Close to Times Square and theatres. Parking is close- but is expensive, as always.

We think this hotel is pretty average. First of all, I'd give a 0 for cleanliness, since there was mold in the bath tub. Also, we had to wait more than half an hour in a line to do the check in. People were tired (some of them were traveling from Argentina!) Furthermore, there were some staff at the counter...

I know NYC is generally expensive but you should always get value in return. Would not recommend this hotel unless you have no other choice or you enjoy a warehouse feel and cattle yard experience. The only redeeming feature was location.

Great location. Staff really helpful and polite. Very disappointed with the upgrade I'd paid for and the room was small and could have been cleaner. Also prepare for a wait on checking in. Wifi was great and the atmosphere in the lobby is good. Iron and hair dryer come in the room which was would stay here again but not...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
