Great location, clean but basic rooms. Got caught out with $120 facilities fee that we were not expecting so watch out. No drinks facilities in the room, and only cleaned once over 4 days. For the price better elsewhere.

For years I stayed at the hotel when it was the Milford Plaza. Was amazed and very pleased with all the changes. Loved every minute of my stay, especially the very comfortable bed. I found the entire staff friendly and caring.

Small rooms, they ran out of queen beds so check in early or you're stuck with full. The breakfast place messed up my order and put bacon but I'm a vegetarian so I was upset. They are also over priced.

The hotel itself is very good, clean and well located but the main quality is the customer service, everybody was extremely helpful and polite, especially Kelly, Juan and Javier. I strongly recommend staying there!

Great Location, clean hotel, bar and food eateries are a bonus. Room was adequate for what we needed. However, check in procedure is dire - after a long flight, tired and hungry, we stood in a queue for nearly 45 minutes whilst at least 4 staff shuffled around behind the desk, seemingly in no rush to get the queue down....

An excellent place to stay in the city if you would like to walk everywhere you go. I took the train in and its a short walk to the hotel. You are surrounded by theatres and great places to eat. The hotel is reasonable too

The hotel staff was very friendly, great location, good value, a little noise, but it was a contruction going on, not the hotel issue. Will stay again. Clean room, small but is NYC, is regular size for a city hotel.

We stayed here for four nights in February. The lady at check in was friendly, however, I was told that I had to pay a $200 deposit from my card which would be paid back after check out minus the $87 facilities fee. I was aware of the facilities fee from reading reviews of the hotel but did not realise...

Style over substance... Had to queue for 20 minutes to check in. Water in room was lukewarm, the plumber said it was because we were on the top floor and we should run it for a few minutes, but after that it was always hot within 30 seconds - previously it was still tepid after a 15-minute shower...? Lifts take...

Theft, so called 'security', inquiries ignored. How can theft occur when doors are not forced? What happened to the investigation ? Why have emails gone unanswered when we were told the hotel would contact us...and never has.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
