We stayed in the court for 10 nights in sept 2014- the hotel was very quiet and the staff very friendly! It was close to a lot of attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurants food was top class! The only fault that I have is the wifi kept turning off and the lift had broken 3 times...

Tried to charge me for smoking in the room I am staunchly opposed to smoking of any kind.Tried to resolve this matter with the manager who proceeded to tell me his staff had photographic proof.I told him to e-mail the photos, and magically they disappeared. We are talking about. 500 dollars. They are THIEVES.

This place is a great find--perfect location (what's not a perfect location in Manhattan), large and tasteful rooms, super comfortable bed, and friendly front desk staff. No complaints whatsoever. The fitness center next door at the sister property is also above average. Can't go wrong.

I planned a weekend in NYC for my husbands 40th birthday in Dec 2014 and selected the St Giles Court hotel because of the reviews I saw online and that it was a little on the cheaper side than other hotels in the area. When I booked online I requested an upgraded room and early check in time when we...

I have stayed at this hotel many times. I started back when it was the "W Murray Hill" and have come back several times since it has transitioned ownership to the St. Giles. It is one of my reliable "go-to" hotels when I am in NYC. The rooms are very large by NYC standards–many are large suites. The hotel decor...

Perfect location, in the Murray Hill, with excellent, quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Huge room and comfortable bed. Breakfast is not so good, poor and slim, but there is some nice places near hotel with very good food. But very good value for the price in NY.

The trip to NYC was a birthday gift so not sure of costs but I'm reliably informed it was a 'middle range' price! Hotel was 5 mins walk from Grand Central Station and close to so many coffees shops and eateries. The beds were huge and comfortable. The room was always warm without being too hot. The water was always...

My friend booked this hotel because of the neighborhood and it was almost perfect except there was no coffee. There was no coffee maker in the room or coffee available on premises which seems like a little thing unless you really love your coffee while getting ready to go out in the morning. The bed was very comfortable, the chaise...

Clean and decent hotel in a relatively central location. Good value for the price, can usually be had last minute for even less. Located in the Murray Hill neighborhood, it is just 3 blocks walk from Grand Central (allowing one to take the cheap shuttle from the airport to Grand Central and then walking to hotel) The neighborhood is not...

Exceptional staff from beginning to end including valet, bellhop, front desk (Glinnis!), wait staff and housekeeping. Ideal location close to subway. GF bakery across the street and many other restaurant choices within walking distance. Great value (our package included parking), clean rooms. We'll definitely be back and have already referred friends.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
