We arrived to our hotel during the evening and it was very busy. There was a long que and we had to wait for almost 2 hours. That isn't what you wish for when you already sat in a plane for 12 hours. The bothering thing was that there were only two check-in desk open while there was a very...

The front desk was helpful and polite. We stayed in a suite and it had enough room for everyone- the beds were clean. We thought the bathrooms could have been cleaner. We had 3 bathrooms and two of them had lukewarm water and the 3rd one only had cold water for the showers. The main living area had an old...

At three o clock in the morning our hotel door opened even though the dead lock was on! Luckily we had the chain on the latch! A man was there saying he was looking for the "conductors lounge". I was terrified, my partner quickly jumped out of bed and shut the door, however the man didn't go he stayed there...

If you expect to get a luxury room with the price you pay per night then do not stay here. It's exactly what it's worth. This place offers a bed, sheets and towels which are basic necessities. Cons: Check in took an hour and a half! The machines could not find our room and so we were stuck in the...

So we knew it was a cheap package and we didn't expect luxury but it was just dirty, really dirty and the walls were pealing and bed feels like it's going to fall apart! Room needs updating and a good clean! When we checked in we were told that there was a $10.29 facilities fee per day for phone use...

Hotel Pennsylvania in NYC...on the main street...beautiful old hotel...no tea or coffee making facilities so that was a bit of a disappointment...bathroom essentials...shampoo,conditioner,body wash...hairdryer inside wardrobe to use in room...no ironing board or iron...small walk in cupboard for hanging clothes...no main light only lamps..found it easier to turn on light in walk in cupboard rather than fiddling with lamps...very basic...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
