Good location directly opposite Madison Square Garden, Penn Station and a short walk from Times Square. In terms of accommodation it's very dated, walls paper thin (very noisy) and no hot water for showers. However, we will say it was very clean and Maria at the check-in desk was lovely on arrival! If you're planning long days out of the...

Had reserved this room with FREE breakfast... upon check in, they said I hadn't reserved the free breakfast. I pointed out that the breakfast was supposed to FREE and that they could still give me vouchers, but they said that I didn't reserved it properly and hadn't paid the correct price. So essentially the free breakfast wasn't free. Also, we...

If you are looking for hotel to be in the hotel – look elsewhere. This is kind of a night rest with shower. Do not expect simplest of amenities that you will expect from a hotel in a big City. This place is at best a Guest House type accommodation. The only USP of this hotel is its location. You...

This was the single most devastating gruesome hotel I have ever encountered. Not only did I wake up several times with cat hairs in my mouth but I found old stale cat poo hidden in my wardrobe which gave off a diabolical aroma which made everyone who entered our room want to throw up. Futhermore there were various stains and...

I went with a college trip to visit the big apple. We stayed in this hotel which was in a brilliant location for everything we needed. However, upon arrival, we had to wait an hour as all of our rooms weren't ready. When we finally got up to the rooms they were very old fashioned and very creepy. There was...

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
