The best part of this stay was the bell Captain Keenan Davis, he helped all my friends from the curb to the lobby to our rooms, brought glasses and ice, recommended great places to party, recommended great places to eat, always had a smile on his face he was such a joy.

It is awful what happened to this place as well as NYC overall. The rooms are very small and need an update. The carpet was ripped. The furniture was damaged and old. No water bottles or glasses were provided. No, I would not recommend this hotel for this price range.

From the website, the hotel has a lot going for it: great location, cool design, nice pool and stunning views from the roof terrace. Yet, when I stayed during the July 4th holiday weekend, I was incredibly disappointed at so many aspects of the hotel, that I felt compelled to write this review. First of all, the roof terrace is not accessible to guests during the day, and is only accessible if they visit the club on the weekends, in which case they have to be "screened" by the door staff. This is because, like the pool, it is an area which is managed by a separate company. Access to the pool costs $80 (just to get a lounger and couple of towels). When I arrived in the room, the minibar had no water or sodas - just hard liquor and wine. There were no snacks or glasses. In addition, there was no room service available, which was because of the lack of staff, I was told. In fact, there was no food or drink available in the hotel at all. So: for what you pay per night, this is definitely terrible value for money, and I would not recommend it at all. Do yourself a favor and stay in another hotel.

We often travel to nyc and this was our first stay in this hotel. The location couldn’t be better for the HighLine, Whitney, the new City Island and ant other attractions in this area. The staff was beyond helpful, friendly and even solicitous. Somehow they knew your name and greeted you with offers to help. The concept of a beach club is totally unique for nyc with a beautifully designed outdoor garden pool, sumptuous chairs and great drinks/ food. Kudos to Morgan our server. Yes the rooms are nyc small, but the brilliance of the design made them seem large and open. I would recommend a room overlooking the pool the very large round window makes it seem like you are open to the outdoors. My only negative is that the furniture is not for older folks. Both the bed and chairs are so low that you need a young body to sit down and get up. The bathroom, although beautifully designed, has a tub/ shower that is very deep making access hard for some folks. Having said this I would definitely stay here again. Note we stayed just post pandemic and not all services were yet available

Can't beat location on the edge of Chelsea and Meatpacking and walking distance to Soho and Tribeca but hear this: if you're hoping for someplace quite to grab a whisky at night, look elsewhere. This place is popping, and it's fun! You can still rest in your spacious rooms, just know that the vibes are high.
