The hotel was lovely just off time square so it was not to noisy, but close enough to walk too. The staff were polite and helpfull. Dan on reception was a great guy always happy and made everyone feel welcome, he always had time to talk to you and ask how your day had been. The hotel hosted a wine hour between 5 and 6 which was a nice touch, but the only thing that was missing was a bar. That was due to Covid. The room was lovely and a good size, and a good size bathroom. The room was cleaned everyday by the service team. We will be back again when we next visit.
I’ve stayed at the Kimpton Muse in the past and it is my go to hotel for theatre trips. The rooms are immaculately clean, and modern. The staff are super nice and helpful. The location cannot be beat. I booked through Costco this time and saved the daily resort fee. I would highly recommend this place for value and location.
Didn’t know what to expect but pleasantly surprised. I was concerned about being too close to time square and noice but that wasn’t an issue at all. Close enough but not too close. The hotel staff are exceptionally kind. Service with a smile with every question. The outside help with luggage was timely and efficient. Loved the morning coffee and teas service (as did many others considering how busy it was). Room was not large but perfect size for NY and housekeeping timely and to detail. Safe in the room always a plus and definitely used and appreciated the umbrella! Would I come back. Absolutely. Cheers!
We’ve stayed here many times over the span of a decade to attend the US OPEN. The location is great and the rooms are spacious. I would agree with the other reviewer, charging the amenity fee right now is silly. There is no bar, restaurant or even mini bars. What are the amenities? We did not have any that I am aware of. Overall this hotel is great, clearly we like it as we return and have referred to others.
Came here for the first time for a long weekend with the wife. Rooms were spacious for nyc, clean and modern. Got a bill for a $20 a day “amenity” charge. I complained bc the bar and restaurant were closed and that we were inconvenienced by their lack of amenities and they agreed to take it off the bill. Very close to Times Square- too close for our liking. Overall a good stay.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. We stayed for 6 nights mid August and will definitely return. The room we had on the 17th Floor was spotless and so big with a great view. All staff were so friendly and we couldn’t have asked for a better location as your literally a few yards from Times Square.
Great location just off time square. We arrived early evening and had booked 2 queen rooms ( 2 adults and 3 teens). Unfortunately the rooms were on different floors. However Daniel on reception could not have been more helpful. He upgraded our room and after some searching managed to secure our other room for the following night on the same floor. The rooms are a great size, especially compared to most in NYC. They’re clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom’s are large with the most amazing showers. The only negative for me was that the bar was not open. One of the main reasons for picking this hotel was the vibrant looking bar and the food shown on their website. No room service and any way of getting a snack. We struggled to find somewhere that sold water late at night. If I’d have known it was closed we would have probably stayed somewhere else. This is due to Covid I’m sure but many other hotels in the area had open bars. All in all it was a good stay with friendly helpful staff.…
I stayed at the Kimpton Muse for my 60th birthday week. It was steps away from Times Square, yet had reasonable and delicious restaurants next door to the restaurant. The rooms were really beautiful and most importantly (for a NYC hotel) very quiet! The staff at the front desk were so nice. There was a wonderful informative man (he worked the afternoon shift (sorry I forgot his name) that was so nice, funny and informative. I really recommend this hotel for business or pleasure if you want to be in the Theater district area. The wine hour of course was another added enhancement!!
This hotel is beautifully decorated. Couldn’t ask for a better location for the 2 shows we saw, both were within walking distance. Staff is friendly and accommodating. If you need your room pitch black to sleep, I recommend bringing a blindfold!
Amazing experience from start to finish. Let me start by saying I am a hotel snob. We travel 150-200 days a year all over the world. While visiting our daughter and grand kids in Long Island wanted a couple day getaway to the city (just wife and I). I wanted to stay at a 5-Star hotel but seems most of them are far away from the broadway/Times Square area. I found Kipton Muse by chance. After reading the reviews I took a chance. WOW! What a nice hotel. Immaculately clean, beautiful decor and amazing location (1/2 block from Times Square and Broadway theaters. Fitness Center has a Mirror and two Peloton workout systems as well as the usual treadmills, ellipticals and free weights - and did I mention Fuji bottle water??? Saw two plays (Evan Hansen & Mr Saturday Night) which were 5 minutes walk from this amazing hotel. As I mentioned Times Square 1/2 block. My pet piece are these hotels who (in name of COVID) don’t have daily housekeeping (or make you request it….NOT HERE - housekeeping was at out door before noon. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF! Will never stay at another hotel while visiting the city. Thank You Muse!…
