The Benjamin is a great location and has a nice bar with fantastic drinks. Our room was small but nice and we loved the pillows. We visit the city as often as possible and we will certainly return to this hotel. Keep up the good work.

We had a great room at the Benjamin Hotel. The hermostat was a little funky so the room was a bit hot. Couldn't adjust it below 66. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Bar bill was high but then We are used to western Massachusetts.

I have stayed at the Benjamin hotel several times over the years and reviewed it while ago for Trip Adviser. It remains an excellent choice and I will continue to go there. But nothing is perfect. Hotel competition in New York is murderous and the Benjamin is not free from the temptation of fiddling with their prices. Hotels need to...

We stayed at the Benjamin this time in NY because of the fact that their restaurant, The National (TNL) serves most excellent breakfast... and the great central location. We took a King suite, just to be nice and comfortable while visiting. But I must admit I'm a disappointed at the lack of ambiance and mediocre service of the hotel. While...

This summer, in August, I was on a honeymoon with my wife in the best city in the world - New York! That wonderful city and only, true metropolis in the world I knew only from books and movies, but now I got the opportunity to see it close and enjoy world famous buildings, museums and statues. All of that...

Things started and ended well for our first stay at The Benjamin, but some stuff in between was not good. We booked through Hotel Tonight but since my hubby still needs a roll-in shower after his foot surgery, we called the front desk and had them on the phone while we booked our HT reservation so that they would be...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Benjamin Hotel in New York City. We've been to NYC a number of times and have rarely been impressed with the rooms we've gotten. The recommendation came from our travel agent and was perfect for our needs and desires. It started with the web site which describes their pillow menu. You can...

My two daughters and I stayed for 4 nights at the Benjamin. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a king bed plus a separate living room with a pull out couch plus a small kitchenette. The room was clean and spacious. Lighting was good. Full length mirror in the bedroom. We were on the 14th floor so the city...

I really enjoyed the hotel, the room was clean, the service from housekeeping good, the restaurant really nice. The only thing that I was angry about is the person from reception who check me out. She was unpleasant and no Professional. She couldn't do two separate invoices, she refused to give me back the information invoice that she throught away...

Dear Guillaume C, Thank you for sharing your experience on Trip Advisor. While I am glad that you enjoyed our hotel and all the services, I am very surprised to read about your negative experience with one of our front desk employee. This is unusual feedback and I appreciate you sharing this with us so that we can address accordingly....

We spent three nights at the Benjamin and booked a room with a balcony. When we got to our room there was a sign on the balcony door that we could not use the balcony because the hotel was fixing up the exterior, plus there was a ladder on the balcony. We went to the front desk and told them...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
