I was by myself on this trip and everytime I went somewhere then headed back to the Benjamin it was like going home. I really love this hotel it's stylish, in a great location, extremely comfortable and a delight to stay out.. Also great Martini's are served at its bar..

Dear Ms. Renata B, Thank you for your fantastic review! You're right about The National’s ability to perfectly prepare a traditional cocktail or one of our signature drinks curated by Geoffrey Zakarian. As we head into Spring, the Sidekick Margarita mixed with Espolón Reposado Tequila, Spicy Agave and Passion Fruit is quickly becoming a favorite among our guests. I am... More

This was a combination wedding anniversary and special birthday trip and it was a particularly cold weekend in NY. We felt we really were coming home to a "warm" place when we reached to hotel at the end of a busy day. the staff adds to that feeling, as well.

We stayed at the Benjamin in mid-January to celebrate our daughter's engagement. Rooms were great -- spacious and clean. Great Midtown location. Staff was very helpful. Restaurant was excellent for Sunday brunch as well as for late afternoon drinks and snacks. All family members -- including future in-laws had a great experience. Will stay at the Benjamin in the future.

I had called earlier about the possibility of upgrading to a different room. Was informed that if that room was available at check in, the hotel would be able to do a complimentary upgrade since it was, and I quote "low season". At arrival, the room was available, but not the upgrade since that was based on "room occupancy". It's... More

great midtown NYC hotel - staff is great, pillow menu is great - ask for Mohamud - terrific bell hop person. Elevators are slow, but it is an older building. Work out room is adequate - we love the Benjamin - location is perfect, rooms are very big for NYC, very comfortable, very good lively bar.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
