I've stayed in small room hotels before and so it wasn't the size that annoyed me it was the fact that there was no real storage space. Imagine a room with a bed in it...the bed has approximately 18 inches around it...and that's it...two bedside tables. Suitcases go under the bed and clothes go in the cupboard without any real...

I recently stayed at Belnord based on reviews & pricing. Well you get what you pay for. This hotel is horrible!! Out of a four night stay my hotel room was cleaned twice. When I asked to get my room cleaned the maid complained about not having lunch??? I then asked for clean towels & sheets at least. When I...

This was a very good, limited frills hotel for not very much money on the Upper West Side. Pros: nice renovations, comfortable bed, nice staff, clean, inexpensive for Manhattan, great location--close to subway & easy to get to everything. Cons: tiny window looks out onto a brick wall, you can hear your neighbors, the closet doesn't have a space that...

I absolutely loved the hotel. Even though I booked the not-renovated room, when I arrived to do the check in I was offered the renovated room complimentary as I was staying 8 days. I was pleased with the services offered, with the size of the room and the restroom, with the design of the hotel, the fact that they have...

Cons- very small Pros- awesome staff, inexpensive, safe, close to subway, good location - easy access to everything, Clean. My 10 year old daughter and I stayed for 4 nights. It was perfect for our needs. We shared a queen size bed. They also have rooms with bunk beds and 2 twins. I wish I had known that - I...

I spent one night here in January 2017. Just needed a place lay down my weary head for the night on the Upper West Side. Couldn't believe I found a room for under $100, and when I did, I had low expectations that were wildly exceeded. The front-desk was friendly and efficient. The property was clean. The room was immaculate....

We stayed at the Belnord Hotel between 4th and 7th of December 2016 on a short trip to New York City. The hotel is situated roughly in line with middle of central park, so about 1 mile from the start of all the main attractions, it is close to subway and also not too far to walk. Transfer time was...

Myself and a friend stayed at The Belnord Jan 13-16, 2017 in a bunkbed room. I arrived very early (around 9AM) so couldn't check in. I could, however, check my luggage which was great. On the downside, the guy at the desk just gave me a key to go back and check the bag myself and there was no ticket...

We reserved there for 2 nights during canada's thanksgiving so we can visit the city. Room was nice and just large enough for a couple. Clealiness was good. District is quiet (for New York) so we were really able to sleep well. Proximity to subway station 86th street is really good to have a direct line into Time Square and...

Very close to subway in a delightful neighborhood....staff friendly and helpful... shuttle you can purchase to the airports...Uber less expensive.....if you are planning to stay only in the room you will want to look elsewhere...small rooms but clean and appropriate for some place to lay your head to rest after a hectic time in Midtown...would recommend and stay again.
