I have been a member for over 30 years. I love to stay here because the rooms are "homey" and the location next to Rockefeller Center could not be better.

I must say that this is quite the little gem in New York. Perfect location to all major sights. Friendly staff and great look. We got the only room on the top floor which gave us a penthouse feel as well as a private balcony...More

Great deal - great location - outstanding staff - a dressy version of a small hotel. Stayed on the 9th floor in the only room on the entire floor which it shares with the solarium and balcony. The view is breath-taking. Across the street from...More

Cons: We had a twin room and the beds were very uncomfortable. We actually changed hotels due to the poor quality for the last two nights of our stay. Room service made beds nicely, but didn't pay attention to details. We ran out of toilet...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
I believe you do need a jacket and tie. I've only had breakfast there and it wasn't required then, but I had a 12-year old grandson with me, perhaps that's why. There were businessmen in suits having breakfast as well... More
I believe you do need a jacket and tie. I've only had breakfast there and it wasn't required then, but I had a 12-year old grandson with me, perhaps that's why. There were businessmen in suits having breakfast as well. Try HAMA, a sushi place a couple of doors down. We had lunch there and it was excellent.
