Great location. Easy building access. Clean rooms and fluffy pillows. Great inexpensive option for NYC. Easy access to great Hells Kitchen restaurants and a decent short walk to the theater district for shows.
Such a great place to stay! It was our first time to New York and we felt very safe and comfortable here. The room was very clean and warm! We also loved that there was free coffee downstairs! We will definitely stay here again.
This place has a great location to Broadway and all the theaters. 3 blocks away from Times Square. Amazing restaurants walking distance. In Manhattan. I plan on rebooking when I return.. easy to check in and out. The building was clean and presentable. The room was clean and sanitary.
We had such a nice time visiting NYC for the 1st time, and it was made so easy with Kasa. The location, price, and quality were so appreciated! The area was nice enough and I felt comfortable without my boyfriend.
So lovely! Honestly didn't know what to expect going in but a friend and I took a chance because other reviews were great and low and behold they were right! We got one bed/bath and it was clean and well lit with lots of great amenities like roku tv, free water and open temperature gauge. We were both pleasantly surprised at all of this at such a good price for the location (a few blocks from Rockefeller) and a week away (12/18-12/19) from a major holiday?? It was a steal and we definitely look forward to coming back!
The Duffy was in a great location and had a very easy check-in process. The property was very clean and had everything I needed and nothing I didn’t. Thank you for you to the team for a pleasant 5 day stay and a 5 star experience. I look forward ti staying here again the next time I return to NYC
Awesome cozy little place to stay that’s easily accessible to the theatre district / Times Square. We loved it. And loved the common area and kitchen as well. Made us feel right at home. The added bonus of ear plus and white noise machine in the room was super thoughtful as well. Little details were A+.
First of all be carefully about the reviews. Most were written before it was taken over by Kasa so judge the hotel based on recent reviews only. I booked a premium queen but had issues with their face recognition software which wouldn't let me complete the booking. Following discussions with them including IT we decided to simply cancel and rebook. After cancelling and rebooking everything worked via my phone and not my tablet. The only issue was they changed me to a regular queen instead of premium at the same price. I didn't notice. I was also promised I would be on the 4th floor. Upon arrive our regular room was on the 1st floor right by the door which was brutally noisy. I tried to watch the US vs Iran world cup match but they only offer a roku with NO live channels. I watched on FOX but it turned off at 78 minutes in the game because it was a trial only. Really! What hotel doesn't have free TV channels???? The room not only was small, noisy but also dirty. In the reality of Covid, I would have assumed that at least the room would be clean. Although the location is outstanding, the staff superb, the Kasa takeover has unfortunately lowered the standards, service and customer support. Careful.…
Absolutely loved Kasa Duffy. Spacious room. Very, very clean. Comfy bed. Nice TV. Cute community room with fireplace. We didn't need onsite people to make this a comfortable stay. And the price was great compared to other Manhattan hotels. Would definitely stay again.
Having come to the 414 Hotel in the past, I appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere and interesting guests who would meet at breakfast or afternoon wine and cheese. Returning this September, the property was familiar - a great location - but this is now a DIY property. To this 70-something guy I had not been to a place where check in was through text and codes, so it stretched me a bit. That said, the hotel was clean and quiet, the codes came on time and we used Luggage Hero around the corner (2 hours free from Kasa) since there wasn't early check in. During our 3 day stay we only saw one other person passing in the hallway, any requests we might have had were through a central phone number. If you want coffee, there's a machine in the kitchenette next to the lobby; for breakfast, there are several places around the corner. I'd say that this is a place to stay, pure and simple, similar maybe to an Air BnB, and it was more than satisfactory as long as you expect to get your cultural experience elsewhere and don't expect to be pampered. I gave it 5 stars because it's good for what it is; but don't expect it to have the service of a boutique hotel.…
