My wife and I stayed at the 414 for most of a week and loved it. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Realize that there are no elevators so you'll be doing the stair-climber but the staff will help you with your bags. Speaking of...More
This was my wife and I second stay at 414. A soon as we walked in I remembered why I couldn't wait to get back here. A beautiful charming boutique hotel in a great midtown location.
The rooms are good size, comfortable and clean. They have...More
The most convenient place we've ever stayed! We were made to feel so very welcome by everyone! Our room was large for New York! The fridge was stocked with refreshing drinks and there were various snacks, but not for your first born. Everything was crazy...More
Daughter and I spent a few nights while visiting colleges. The location is, of course, fantastic and very central to everything, including a few blocks from the main theaters. But the real charm and plus of this lovely BB is that it is small, warm...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
Susan or any of the awesome people who work in the hotel can order a car service for you. We always do this and have always felt safe, and the car and driver is always exceptional! The price is often less than a taxi.

Hi. If it's the Manhattan cruise terminal then we are a 10 minute walk (or $8 cab ride) but make sure it's not Brooklyn or Bayonne as many cruises come and go from there. Thanks for your interest in the 414 Hotel.
