Arrived early Saturday evening, staff at the front desk were extremely friendly. Had read other article's that the rooms were very small even to new York standards. We has a 2 bed room found it to be of decent size you also have a mini fridge in the room. Bathroom was okay. shame the were no tea of coffee making...

stayed one night for GFNY ride, needed inexpensive, clean, no frills accommodations. Was disappointed by bathroom cleanliness, desk lamp that didn't work. HVAC units loud and street noise made sleep un-obtainable. Bed and linens clean, no bed bugs which was a major bonus. Lounges (especially Sky Lounge) and bars pretty cool. Good value but next time will pay a little...

had a twin room and the bathroom was tiny, decor a little frayed, no mini bar, pretty basic for the price. Well located for our meetings, but ultimately won't stay again Was supposed to paid by travel company but they'd charged us for the room which is a hassle when you are in NYC for 24hours only

I work in the airline industry and travel often. This hotel is average, there were stains on the bed linens and some paint was chipping in the bathroom. The location is great (restaurants and shopping). With the other hotel options in NYC, I would probably not stay here a second time.

Great hotel in a perfect location a short walk from Times Square and Central Park. Rooms are small but perfect for a short break in this wonderful city. Drinks in he bar are very expensive which is the only negative. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

As student at Columbia University 10 years ago, we visited the hotel for a design class. Philippe Starck, a famous French designer did an amazing job with the interior design. So you might say I already had a fondness for the hotel. Nonetheless, Franklin, the cool dude at the front desk made the experience incredibly memorable. My son and I...

I was in this hotel on the 3rd week of April and this was my first time in NYC. Lovely hotel, great location, amazing decor and design on the inside of the hotel. Would I stay here again? Definitely not. The staff was horribly rude, especially at the concierge service - I book some tour tickets in there but this...

The total experience was amazing. We had a great time over there at the hotels facilities like the gym, breakfast and the bar. The only thing is their tiny tiny rooms, not even in a distant size for one person.

Near Columbus Circus, Central Park, metro stations. The Hudson Hotel has Phelip Stark as architect and designer. The check in desk is surprisingly unique. The lightening of rooms, corridors and hall is well designes to create a intimate experience. During summer the hotel offer a relaxing experience in the bar garten. If you like staying near the Central Park the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
