Minimalist decor but warm and fuzzy staff, especially Ronan and Dwight upon arrival. Location central to subways, 5th Avenue and choice restaurants. Former Radiator building provided panache and basement cocktails.

Hotel's Favourite
For me personally, Bryant Park Hotel is the best hotel in the world (from my travels in the US, Europe, Australia, and Asia). The words I associate with the BPH are: classy, warm, homey, sophisticated, comfortable, friendly, cheery, happy, bright, well located, accommodating. My spirits lift every time I walk in the front entrance. I've stayed here solo and with my family several times since 2012. I stayed for an extended period in Dec 2022 and didn't get around to writing my review before I returned for a short visit solo in March 2023. In December, it was magical looking out onto the winter wonderland in Bryant Park and was lovely being toasty and warm in my bright and cheery suite when it was icy and miserable out. My trip ended abruptly in December and I had to rush back on account of a family tragedy. Given that I was in a hotel when the news came, there was no other place I would have chosen to be. Scott at the front desk was so kind and understanding, adjusting the dates of my stay and letting me check out very late the day of my departure. I was delighted to return in March 2023. Since I was solo, I opted for a basic room. Jo checked me in and was warm and welcoming. When I asked, she said the room I had been assigned did not have a view. So I expected what I have experienced in other New York City hotels in rooms without views ie, you look out onto the wall of the next building which seems close enough to touch. In one upmarket hotel, my only view of the sky was the reflection in the window of the building I faced. So I was pleasantly surprised by how bright and cheery my BPH room without a view was. As I said to Jo later, a BPH room without a view equals a room with a view in most hotels. The next building was a distance away and I had a nice view of Bryant Park from the side. The BPH bathrooms are spectacular by NYC standards—spacious and well maintained. It's just lovely being on Bryant Park in all seasons. And there are restaurants, cafes, bars (the bar in BPH—Celon—is delightful), a Whole Foods, the beautiful and imposing New York Public Library, a bookstore and more at the BPH's doorstep. And, while not located in the madness of Times Square, the hotel is very conveniently located for theater going. I truly feel like I'm back amongst friends whenever I return to the BPH, which is my comfort zone. Thank you to all the staff and a special shoutout to Scott, Jo, John at the front desk, Ray at the front door, Tenzin, and Lundup in housekeeping for yet another fantastic stay. I can't wait to be back.

After a very long day of travel we were pretty needy guests night one. We called guest services several times for additional comfort items (too many times) Larry Houseman arrived so quickly and with such a positive attitude, really made us feel valued and so welcome. Management, this man deserves a raise and promotion ASAP

Fantastic hotel and in the best location on Bryant Park, all the staff were incredibly friendly with a special mention to Jo at the front desk who looked after us with some great advice. Rooms were larger than normal for New York and the downstairs bar had a great vibe to it. We will definitely return to The Bryant Park Hotel.

We wanted a hotel away from craziness of Times Square but close enough to walk after returning from a show. While I’m sure there are cheaper options out there, my teenage daughter and I really liked it here. Everyone was super friendly, cool vibe and we got lucky that are room was available early. The rooms are minimalistic with a very comfy bed (which after a two-show day it was heaven). No coffee machine but there is coffee and muffins out in the am in the lobby. My daughter was able get in some ice skating which was on her bucket list. All in all made for a nice mom and daughter getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

Stayed at the Bryant for 4 days and what a great experience. So close to everything in downtown and right next to the Bryant market and ice rink. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean and mostly with views over the park and market place. This hotel is considered a boutique hotel which l like unlike the usual chain hotels. As per the title of this review it really is the staff of the Hotel that made our stay so special. What a wonderful group of guy’s and girls.shoutout to John, Zanul ( probably not spelt correctly) Dominick, Rey and Scott👍

The Bryant Park Hotel is by far our favorite hotel in midtown Manhattan. Lost count of how many times we've stayed (over a dozen) but it is always consistent and special. The closeness to Bryant Park (particularly with the Holiday Festival ongoing over much of Nov and December) along with its ice skating rink, the nearness to the theatre district, shopping, Madison Square Garden, Grand Central Station, the main New York Library on Fifth Avenue, and Penn Station....all walkable within fifteen minutes max. Hard to beat with the Hotel's proximity to major things to do. Plus the rooms are always impeccable, and the staff is very courteous and well-trained; really nothing to complain about. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel in the midtown area of Manhattan.

Another fantastic visit to NYC and the Bryant Park Hotel. Stayed in the Bryant Park Hotel for a business trip a few weeks ago and what a terrific experience. From the moment I arrived I got a lovely warm welcome from Jo which after a long day of travel was just what I needed. Jo quickly checked me in to a superb room with a view over Bryant Park which was fantastic. The hotel is impeccably clean and attention to detail is meticulous. I met the hotel manager (Siobhan) who was ever so helpful and hospitable and clearly runs a top notch hotel with very happy staff. Special mention to Jo, Ronan and John for being so friendly and helpful during my stay. Look forward to my next visit to NYC and of course the Bryant Park Hotel!

Let me preface this by saying that I didn't stay at the hotel and my review is focused on the Celon Lounge. We hosted a team cocktail reception there for a party of 12. Everything from making the reservation (which we were able to do on Open Table) to the service (We loved SiSi) was seamless & top notch. We had a lovely space with tables & tiered benches in the middle of the bar. It was cozy and our server SiSi was not only super personable, but also navigated our party of 12 with ease. We will definitely be repeat customers especially since our office is just down the street!
